Now, getting back to the main topic:

THE SCARIEST INTERNET LEGENDS

I was bored at work after school, chatting with a couple of friends in kaw, when one of them told me about some game that made him scared... I was curious and asked for the name. I googled for some information and got into this idea of the "internet legends". Of course i know must of them are fake but they can give you a bad time, for example; nightmares.
I decided to make a list of some of them so after it you can chose wich one you liked the most, wich one you hated/disliked the most, wich one was scarier and why.

The Slender Man

Also known as the Slenderman or tall man, the Slender Man is a creature, similar to a human silhouette; tall, thin, with long arms, always dressed in a black suit, faceless and may have tentacles on his back.



Slender Man cannot be seen by adult people, only teenagers and kids. The creature can also cause memory loss, insomnia, paranoia, coughing fits, photograph/video distortions and can teleport at will.
Slender Man is known for taking kids and causing psycological torture before "killing" them, leaving no evidence. I used quotes on -killing- because no one ever finds a body, no one knows what happens when you meet him, no one is alive to tell it.





Jeff the killer

Serial killer with deformed face and wide creepy smile. There are two versions of its story:



The first one says that he was a normal guy. One day he accidentally got acid in his face. His face was barely destroyed and since that day he was killing every single person that laughed at him.

The other story is way more complicated and therefore long, also i'm not sure if it'll be right posting it here, so if you are curious about his other story (wich is more realistic) please make some research by yourself...

Obey the Walrus

"Obedece a la morsa" in spanish, is a viral video film on 1998 and it got into internet on 2005, being Mexico the country that watched it the most becoming a HUGE thing. The original video clip was taken from the film The Goddess Bunny that talks about the story of a drag queen.



The video was not only annoying but also made a lot pf controversy, some people found it discusting, others annoying, and even with subbliminal messages, meanwhile some (like myself) found it not only creepy but scary too.

Squidward's Suicide

This is also a viral video talking about Squidward from Spongebob Squarepants.



I wish i could give you guys the story of it, but honestly i'm to scared of it.
Several of my friends already watched it and they have really creepy nightmares and weird reactions when they see anything about Squiward on TV. Sadly, i couldn't see it. So if you want to know about it, please do further reasearch by yourself.

The Tails Doll

The only Internet legend that seems to be real; the Tails Doll is a character of the Sonic the Hedgehog series and a unlockable character in the game Sonic R.
The story is about a kid that got as a gift the game and dedicated lots of hours playing it. He was too obsessed about getting the Tails Doll, that suposely gives you special powers on the gameplay. One day, his mother went to his room to get him down for dinner, but when he found it, the kid was barely dead, with blue lips and his eyes lost looking to the celling, singing "can you feel the sunshine?", same track on the game.



The mother of the kid decided to give away his stuff after several months. She gave the game to his son's best friend. Wheh he played the game, he noticed that the last achievment the other boy unlocked was the Tails Doll.

Maybe this story isn't as scary as the others, but is the only one that proves to be real.

Mereana Mordegard Glesgorv

Mereana Mordegard Glesgorv is an Internet legend surrounding a mysterious video clip which features a man staring intently at the viewer before fading away with a grin on his face. Again, i didn't watched the complete video, because they say it will bring misfortune to anyone who watches the full-length version of the video.

There are a few more stories about the tails doll, maybe you can try finding them by yourself. Tails doll isn't very scary at all just involves a few dead people who comit suicide
