Tear blue is Gen 1 Pokemon game. Basically your rival in that game.

The story goes that He was in the grave tower burying his Raticate when you enter. Apparently the Raticate died when you battled Gary/Blue on the SS Anne (?) then got HM01 (Cut). And that's why Gary/Blue doesn't use Raticate the rest of the game. So you killed his Raticate.

And the Fear series are a game. Apparently scary. Never played them though.
