So to continue my scary story series, I would like to introduce you all to my newest edition, know as "Creatures" I know I have already posted one recently, but I just couldn't wait to share this. I was scared. Too scared. How did I even get myself into this mess. I know all the precautions the supplies, everything there is to know. This all started 4 years ago when a mad scientist mixed dozens of rare chemicals together to find something magnificent, but instead he found the infection that would change humanity as we knew it. Humans started to turn into what we call, the creatures, once you turn into one, you know. Your skin starts to turn a dark green and all the water is drained from you, so you get deathly skinny and your skin turns wrinkled. You turn dangerous. We would call them zombies, but they're not. They're alive. They just don't know food from friends. They are limp. They don't know what is going on all around them, their only intention is to eat and eat and eat. Yet they never get full, they live off our flesh. Most of the population has been infected, there is very few of us left. We call ourselves the survivors, mostly because we are immune to the disease. Everyone who is... Was... Not immune turned into the creatures. Now me, my best friend, and his little brother are running from them. There's too many of them. This may be the last time we have to run from them. We made it into the heart of the city, the most dangerous place to be. It's filled with the creatures. The amount of them gets bigger every day, we get smaller. We find a small building to go in, all of us panting. "How will we get out," I barley slip out of my mouth, as we held the door shut from the creatures getting in. "Can we?" Jake said scared to death, he is 7 years younger, only 9. "Don't think like that," Ryan said brutally, fear hides behind his eyes, I can tell. "We just need a plan we can't stay here long," I say. Hearing the creatures nails against the door, it is ear piercing, I hate it. But I'm gonna have to deal with it. "We have to head out that window, fast." As soon as I said it all of us three sprinted to the window. Jake was the first one out then me. I heard a blood curling scream. They got Ryan. "Ryan! Ryan!" Jake cried out, but it was too late. The screaming stopped, Ryan was gone, but that wasn't the wort part. The creatures were tearing him apart. Jake barley screamed but I covered his mouth before he could. They dug their teeth into his flesh. His stomach moved. He was still alive... No.. No... No .. This could not be true. This could not be happening. But it was, the creatures were eating Ryan alive. I nearly puked. I can't save him, or we will die too. There was 6 of them and..3...2 of us. I took Jakes hands looked him dead in the eyes "we have to go, he's gone," I spoke softly. "No, he can't be," jake cried out. We were still crouched beside the window, one of the creatures heard us. I could tell it used to be a girl, middle aged, But I couldn't tell by much. It screeched its rusty voice and stared at us with its soulless eyes. Then, we ran for our lives. Back to the compound. But one thing was wrong. Everyone in the compound was eaten. Probably eaten alive..... So I hope you all enjoyed it. Sorry if there's any grammar mistakes. I'm kinda guessing I'll get spanked by "FA" for grammar. Who cares, at least I got it done. As expected: you have some grammar/spelling/capitalization/punctuation mistakes. Anyways, I like this. The creatures are unique, not like the typical ones. Good job.?
Question, as I like these sort of things, do the creatures eat each other as well? Seeming as there aren't enough regular humans left alive to eat? Interesting idea.
