It is an ongoing problem for many users that PIMD develops memory issues with continued use. With how many different devices it affects, there is no way it is every single device with a memory issue. I will describe 3 issues I regularly encounter because the app has memory issues, issues that are exclusive to the app AND point to poor coding within the app. 1. Tapping the active party icon on the home screen may not advance you directly to the party, staying on the home screen. When this happens, it can be fixed by going to the club screen. THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH CACHED DATA NOT BEING PROPERLY CLEARED. 2. My game will suddenly freeze up completely. Timers will not advance and chat will be frozen. HOWEVER, I have no problems switching to other programs or going straight to my phone's home screen. THIS INDICATES A PROBLEM ON THE APP AND NOT THE PHONE. 3. Sometimes, my keyboard will slow down drastically and possibly dismiss itself. I DO NOT GET THIS PROBLEM WITH ANY OTHER APP ON MY PHONE. There is little evidence actually pointing to the device as a problem as I'm certain these issues happen to many other users with a huge variety of devices. I've used multiple devices (with different specifications) myself with these same problems. It can't just be a single account either as these have persisted across multiple accounts. I want these problems fixed. Not dismissed with the clearly inaccurate "It is just your device." I have reported these problems before to no effect so I'm posting here.
Yep. On the party one, you can also encounter going to the party screen but unable to act on the party, which is solved the same way as I described (which sorta force refreshes some of the data the app is using).
I have an issue with forums. Sometimes it’ll load, sometimes it won’t. The other day the POTD thread was a mess because for 5-7 hours I couldn’t get into forums
Also a lot of the time I have to exit out of the app delete from my app history and reopen it before new notifications/ messages pop up
In general I think a lot of functions on the app should update real-time (besides just chat) instead of only refreshing when you prompt it to
Fully support, I’m tired of having all these issues with just this app specifically. When you say your going to fix something then fix it, don’t blame our devices. It’s not us it’s you 🤭
Does anyone have the issue of typing a message in private messages & the app freezes & force closes while you're typing, completely losing the message you were typing & having issues getting back into the app after that? Typically its when I'm typing a paragraph, not just a few sentences. So it ends up being extremely annoying losing everything I just typed in a PM, especially when I'm listing out prices or something that's hard to remember. Does anyone else have this issue? Or is it possibly my phone?
Mine doesn't force close, but yes. If I'm typing a paragraph sometimes it'll just freeze out of nowhere and I'll have to close and swipe the app then come online again to be able to use the app again.
