I used to love the color yellow Like the color of the sun It shines so brightly at day Yet like any other day there is a time that it will set So then I loved the color orange A happy color like the lovely autumn leaves But then autumn may be a happy season But some cannot see the sadness in the leaves falling and dying I loved the color red Because I thought love was amazing Yet I've seen people jump off bridges and end their own life Instead of suffering from a broken heart I loved the color black Like the vast night sky Yet one seems not to love it If the black that embraces you is darkness There was a time when I loved green Like the fresh grass that I walk on Yet being green I saw what it did to people,it turned them into something horrible I then learned to love the color white Like the fluffy clouds above But white is the color of the walls of a certain building Which holds people in straightjackets and their sanity gone I loved the color blue Like how I love the ocean But some times the ocean is too deep and you can drown People that are blue take pills to not be blue When I start to love a color This always happens to me To love something dearly And to realize it's not what it seems to be
