What's up Kawrums its Ca- oh uh... Wrong game. Start over. Hello, all 8 PIMD forumers. Its with a thread for you. I see a distinct lack of class here, something that, while Kaw is also lacking, actually happens once in a while over there. So, I'm here with a fairly popular thread over there to see how different our games truely are. Enough back story though, on to the purpose. I want you, as many of you as there are, to post poetry here. Things you've written, things you read and liked, things that spoke to you, your friends work, anything. Depending on how this thread is received I may post my own terrible writing here, which doesn't really count as poetry at all. So, get to it. I'll start us off with a quote, because I'm op and I break my rules. "Those who would kill must also be prepared to die." -Lelouch Via Brittania Begin.
The kappa is a beautiful and majestic creature. In its rainbow form it attains perfection. I honestly thought he would be the first poster. I'm disappointed in him. But let's keep this on topic. Share some of your favorite poetry. Or, I'd even take some meaningful quotes. I'd love to see what you all come up with.
A few select streamers. I'd gladly wall you their names, to keep the thread on topic. I'd like to see this thread have some measure of success.
"I'm quite sure that people will look upon my attitude and sentiments and look for hypocrisy and hatred in my words. My revolution is born out of love for my people, not hatred for others." The Poverty Of Philosophy- Immortal Technique.
"The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the 24 hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always doesn't, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there." -Monica Baldwin I have a love-hate relationship with this quote. Particularly, hate on mornings when I wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. ~ Robert Frost. Stay gold is by far one of my most favorite poems.?
