I never thought Of war as a hellish nightmare of explosions and death, I always figured it was go in, win the suck in the glory. I guess I just wasn't mature enough before I joined the army. It was only 4 years ago when Texas, new Mexico, and Nevada left America first due to the north's refusal to send supplies to the south even though we were being destroyed by weather and disease. 12 other states followed. The Yankees didn't like that and began to attack, little did they know citizens were all ready armed to fight. I joined the fight in 2042 with my best friend, Cindy "rock" Williams. I am "savage" Matt "savage" rite. I'm a combat medic, who basically fights and heals. My tools include syringes filled with long term pain killers, that slow down the bleeding of a bullet wound. My squad, "the rippers", are trained to hi-jack, fight with rage, and survive.
I'm currently on a mission to destroy a factory for tanks. The problem is we only have 10 squad members and "x"'s unreliable leadership. X is our crappy sarge. His leadership has almost gotten me and Rock killed too many times. We mounted our motorcycles, loaded out m-y34 hand machine games (or as we call them "shredders") and strapped our arc-y40 bolt machine gun on our backs. "let's ride!" X yelled, and so we began to drive, but little did we know what would happen next.
As we rode we noticed how calm it was, which is never the case. We were prepared for the worst, but we didn't prepare enough. We were only 3 miles away when 4 men and their bikes went flying. "crap a tank!" a solider yelled."to the woods!" X yelled. "do you really expect us to get maneuver that?!" Rock yelled back. "yes!" X replied and then he vanished in the woods. "You ready to die savage?" Rock asked intensely "I've been ready ever since my first battle!" I replied Then, Us and the squad vanished from sight in the woods.
We managed to maneuver the woods, but not entirely on our bikes. Eventually, it was too wooded, so we had to continue on foot. We were all determined to finish the mission. "whatever it takes" is our motto, I wish it wasn't. When we reached the factory, we found it heavily guarded. "they must have known we were coming! Freaking Yankees..." rock said. "we're going stealth!" X whispered "attach your silencers!" The squad sneaked through the trees and snuck to the back of the factory. "ok, team" X began "I need each of you to attach the bombs to your assigned vital point" "yes, sir." we replied I was to attach the bomb near a conveyor where gas was brought in daily. Rock had to attach her bomb under a truck, and X and the others had to attach their bomb near conveyors as well. We set them all for 1 minute. We then got a heli out of there, right on schedule. "whatever it takes!" X yelled
