I see you're new, and are very eager to begin that new thread of your's that will o-so delight the local community! But wait! There's things here you should know before posting, and I'm here to teach you about them. Let's begin with the basics: *Vocabulary* Here on PiMD we use a a deep and sophisticated set of words, and here's a list of some of those to help get you ready to fully understand what we're talking about: ~ToU- Terms of Use, a set of rules, this is basically PiMD's holy book. ~Noob- Refers to you. Can be hated in the first five seconds. ~Thread- Any post with a specific topic board. ~OP- Original Poster, the creator of a thread. ~Mod- Appointed kings and queens if PiMD, can ban/silence players. Also referred to as RAs. ~King/Queen- A pointless title. ~DarkRose1908- A mod that lives on 3 hours of sleep daily and is pretty much running on a theorized combination of coffee, Red Bull, and cocaine for drinking and cigarettes for eating; ie a champion. Is a woman despite being portrayed as a tall, muscular, bearded man with a dong so huge, that upon her death and ascending towards to the OtherWorld, it will act as a makeshift rope to the Kingdom of Heaven. It is currently believed that she will be fighting Satan in the Battle of Armageddon and it will be shown to the public only on Pay-Per-View. ~BanHammer- Also called The Hammer of Bannington, typically wielded by a more famous RA, DarkRose1908. It's another word for being banned. ~Silence Spear- Another part of DarkRose1908's arsenal. The more commonly used weapon, and as the name implies, if struck with it, you will be unable to speak here on PiMD. ~Silence- The main reason you need to jump off the roof of a ten story building. This is the end of the world, if this happens to you it's game over man, GAME OVER!! You lost all your friends, your parents will no longer love you, and the Taliban will kill your dog, sister, brother, grandma, grandpa, or worse, that blonde chick you had your eye on for a while. Yeah, her. Because where else are you going to make friends and meet possible partners for the purposes of romance and procreation? The real world? Psssh. ~Dorms- Rooms used for upgrading. ~Speaker Token- Used for communication on Campus Chat. ~Campus Chat- CC, the one place where 99.99% of bannings occur. ~Doctor's Note- Used for full recovery of health/stats ~EC/Extra Credit- Used to buy other more useful things, typically bought, but can be won through jobs. ~Farming- Hitting 5x or more in a period of 24 hours. ~Goodbye Thread- Another way to say that your mommy and daddy don't love you enough. ~WAAAAAmbulance- Every time you post a goodbye thread, we will call the WAAAAAmbulance. ~Arrow to the Knee- I thought of trying and defining this properly, then I took an arrow to the knee. Forums: A series of Topic boards, now completely cancerous piles of trash. ~Off-Topic: Do I really need to explain myself? Off-Topic is the most famous of boards, but filled with repeat threads and complainers. ~Fanfic- Used to share Fan Fiction, now a shadow of its former self, more commonly used for Role Playing. While actually story writers do exist on this board, updates occur once a week at best, once a month at worst, with few odd occurrences. Tend to be overlooked. ~War- Used to advice others for war, or declarations of war. ~Strategy- Really Bro? I'm just going to assume you already know. ~News- Lol wut? This thread is typically reserved for mods and the developers. ~Other PiMD Discussion- For chocolate. What did you think it was for? Discussing other PiMD-related material, such as the cost of dorms, upgrading, or how to make it better for example? Nope, it's about chocolate. ~Best Of- The best of all the boards, you cannot post here. Only the greatest of threads are moved here. If you are any good, your stuff will end up here.
