Good day everyone. I'm posting here because I was silenced for posting a song lyrics from Tommy Tutone - "867-5309 / Jenny" with the quote literally stating "Jenny don't change your number!!! 867-5309!!!". Everyone was posting song references and making jokes, but when I added mine, I was silenced for posting personal information. Really? Need I say more? The chat filter needs reviewing and so does the PIMD support bot since it doesn't really do anything other than asks you what is going on, then tell you that it can't help you. This is a fun game, bit stuff like this needs to be fixed.
Add an area code to the beginning and it could very well be your personal info or someone else's, even if it is from a popular song.
It is not a real number. Nor is that a real name. It is literally the lyric from the song. Listen to the song and see for yourself.
You cant expect everyone to know every lyric of every song to ever exist. It is a real name (theres a fuck load of people in the world called jenny) and i can almost garuntee it is a real number somewhere in the world. Posting private info is against the rules and illegal. Wether its a joke or not...it doesnt matter. Its not allowed
It is not private information. That is my point. A made up lyric from a song that literally has a number as party of the title of the song is not posting illegal information. I completely understand that nobody is expected to know every song, but to claim that such a rule is broken after presenting legit evidence is just absolutely unreasonable.
It is a real number and a real name. You are in the wrong. Read the game rules if you want to avoid future silences
It doesn’t matter if it’s ‘a joke’ or a song if it breaks rules you will be silenced for it. It’s also not a chat filter it’s mods that are following rules for silencing that silenced you, if you have issues with the silencing policy I’d suggest writing to ata but I doubt it’ll be changed
Doesnt take much researching. Took me all of 2mins to find the american state the number is linked to by typing it into google lol
You know what? I decided to type in the number and only the number on Google to see what would actually come up. The very first thing that came up was the full name of the song and the artist name, with links to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Panorama, etc. Secondly, you cannot enter a number in the US or any other country without putting in an area code or a sequential sets of numbers before it. Otherwise, the number won't register and you'll get a dead dial tone. Now I just feel like I'm being trolled. If you yall want to continue this chat, go ahead. I refused to feed the trolls any longer.
The very first thing is what you based your entire decision to ignore us on? Wow, such amazing research.
