Chapter 1: The Art of Pain

The room was hot and humid moisture filled the air and trickled on her brow. Black hair messily pulled back into a pony tail, green tear blurred eyes looking intently though drawers and randomly assourted boxes for the object needed, the cold metal that would relieve her of her mental pain. Her eyes lowered to a familiar small box, It was perfect in every way, black in color golden latches that kept it’s item safe, a red interier to match the contant that was ushualy inside. She picked up the box, her paintbrush, paints, and a palet to mix her concoction, she sat upon her bed a blank canvise infront of her, She wiped her tearstreaked face and began to sketch onto the canvis a pure vision of beautie, the figure of an angel holding the hand of a young girl. The girl smiled at her sketch then picked up the box and placed it deliqutly on her lap, as she opened the box silently a sad smile danced across her lips. She reteaved the small razor blade from her box and carefuly reclosed the box and help the razor to her pale and scared wrist. She pressed down and the delicious rush of pain filled her, it burnt in a way that she loved in a wa that made her know she was still alive, Her vision became blured and haisy as the cold metal left her skin, this beautiful pain ran up her arms as the liquid of life left her vains, “this the final ingredent to make my master peice complete.” she whispered to herself as she let the blood drip onto her palet. She quickly wrapped her wrists to insure this would not be her final act of art. She mixed her blood with the paint and began to paint. She pain slowly disolved into happiness as she finnished her art work, once she finnished her put the razor back into it’s hiding. She cleaned her paintcbrish and face then walked out of her room to face the demon of a woman who shooed her gardian angel away.
