For the past few weeks I've had people ask for help upgrading and I'll check their pupil and get the answer, "I'm in war. Don't hire them and don't help them upgrade. It will make me loose money" So many new people come into this game and get stuck because their pupil decides to be constantly in war and won't be gracious enough to help them upgrade or swap out a tutor and let people actually enjoy the game. That's why there are so many dead and abandoned tutors. They join all happy and ready to play and immediately get stuck being someone Tutor Bonus. Well guess what?! If you are stuck with low stats and a week has passed and your pupil is still "In War" then come to be i will hire you and help as much of you as I can. The rest will be free to get help from anyone. At least you won't be stuck with a pupil that is holding you hostage.
I don't mind my tutors being hired, even when I'm in war, just make sure I'm online and ask first so I can hide the cash.
Umm, how would tutors upgrading make them lose money? And while it is nice to be hired every once and a while, people rely too much on being hired. That first 5088 cs volley gives them a great start to be able to make money on their own.
I never said I was going to volley them. People get upset when their tutor upgrades and becomes underpriced and get hired. If they are in a war and a tutor gets hired then they have money out
My pupil ignores me. I say "Hello" to him but he ignores me. I wanna upgrade, but he is bleh and won't help much .
Haha yeah true that. I can tell you of one such case. I was still a newbie and hungry for pvs so I searched the 100m tut list. I walled all of em. Surprisingly just a little less than half replied. I chose to help this guy who already had his 7days active award and hired him. Little did I know his pupil was at war (I was still a newbie) and she walled me.. But then forgave me eventually. Now that guy's doing really well and he's hyperactive! warms my heart when I see my past pvs stay active or even better, hyperactive. (you know that fuzzy feeling you get?)
Lol a pupil that's holding you hostage. That's a nice way to put it. And that's kind. I was told that...once. Just once. But it didn't last long. But my pupil now...I want to ask him for his opinion about upgrading (I do this to all of them. I know how to upgrade. It's just a thing.) but he won't ever answer. Or every time he's on, I'm off. -_-
All you have to do is ask. If you were in a similar war you would want the same. Typically I just buy back or find another depending on the tut.
It sucks but it's true.. I personally get mad sometimes because u can't sleep without tutors being hired. But tutors have to be considerate too, join war and you'll see how much fun war is Also don't rely on ur pupil so much They're a great help but you have to learn how to earn money on your own. Then again I mostly only hire inactives.. I have 1 active I think But ask nicely and don't spam them either
Seriously guys some people have the full 250 tutors.. If they stopped to give advice to every single tutor they would have no time to enjoy their game. If you try and get no response then don't spam Active pupils are awesome but you can always seek out advice from the many other experienced players in the game if you still get no response!
My take in this is no player should have a monopoly of his own tutors. If one likes to hide money for war or keep tutors for TB, keep them overpriced so on one else will hire them from you. If one takes the risk to only keep underpriced tutors, one should not blame others for hiring them away, regardless in war or not. Tutor prices should be set by market forces of supply and demand, and not by farm threats or war, which this game has evolved to. Many sincere players have left as there's no law
I agree that no tutor should be held hostage If you try to talk to your pupil and they chose not to respond then it's there loss and their own damn fault if you upgrade and get hired
