Bypassing, and the reason why you were silenced.

I've had enough of this. Some spams came from being silenced, and the majority of you who are silenced and is on the Off Topic forum is to say or whine, "I was silenced unfairly!"



1.Being silenced:


No. There's a reason. Always a reason.

You bypassed. Obviously.

Bypassing is when you alter a filtered word. No, it doesn't have to be nessicarily bad, like prick or pricked. But sometimes, these words are filtered in wall posts and chats, so it'll be more safe. Like I said,


IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A BAD WORD TO BE FILTERED. IT JUST IS. DON'T COMPLAIN. IT'S TO KEEP PIMD SAFE. >:L


Got that, chump? Now no more spamming for you. 



And, using these words like:

"Stfu".


Yep. That's kinda like bypassing. A mod once told me that shorcut words like that are sometimes olay, sometimes not. It's ok if it has a swear word and is not directed at anybody, it can be directed to yourself, but if directed to anybody, that results in a silence.


You can say "Sthu", like I do, and you don't get silemced that way since "heck" or "hell" aren't bad words. ._.


Shortcut words that are okay to use: A mod said "wtf" was ok, but I'm not sure about "fml". So I try to avoid using it as much as I can. 



2. How to be unsilenced.

And that only applies if it was your third silence. First or second, you'll be able to talk again in twenty four hours. Yeah I know, PIMD is addicting. On my first silence, I was so anxious to chat in cc that I pestered Micky for adminship and talked on ca.  She didn't say no or tell me to shut up, I just got it. XD


And for those of you that don't have email, I think that somebody said you can use the Feedback button.  I forgot who, but whoever you are and if you read this thread, post so I can thank you. 

And try to behave while you're waiting to be unsilenced. Devs' inbox are kinda jammed with emails these days, so I say send only 1 email. If you're an impatient person, send two. Both of them at the emd of your plea, put "Please reply." so you'll have a better chance at the devs replying. ._.


3. Don't make pathetic threads about
It.


Mods can't unsilence you. So don't spam forums asking for forgiveness. I made this thread to tell you all that making more threads won't work. You can either look at the millioms of other threads whose topics are also about the OP being silenced. There's always a solution to your problem. But it's NOT. making useless threads like this one. :3 ... 




4. I'm done with my rant.


:3 yes I am. So I hope you'll just read this and not keep on making more threads. Why? Because everytime, or most times, the OP is always like, "OMG that is so unfair~!"


Yeah. Life is unfair. Live with it.
