CHAPTER 1: ABOUT TO CHANGE Every day, I walked down the same, hard wood steps. Every day, I walked down the same dirt drive way. Every day I heard the 7:30 train in the distance. Every day the same big yellow bus came around the corner. Every day I saw the big, black, bold number 12 on the side of the big yellow bus. But I, Valarie Jude, knew that was all about too change.
My real name is Valarie, but my friends call me Val. I'm single, but I'm happy that way. My blond hair falls on to my back, and my green eyes glisten in the sun. I'm 5'6 with long legs. I love baby sitting and dance. I'm the best dancer at my high school, even though I'm only in 10th grade. I dress very cool. I put wierd idems of clothes toghether and make them look good. My best friend is Elise Jamesberg. She also has blond hair, but her eyes are brown. She is 5'6 too and in clogging. She dresses girly. She is also my neibor. My other neibor is Mark. He's my best guy friend and… He's Elises boyfriend. He has shaggy brown hair and brown eyes. He's in a ton of sports. Lacrosse, soccer, baseball, and football! In my family I have non-divorced parents, two twin little sisters who are 5. Their names are megan and Meledy My older brothers ( there twins too) are in 11th grade. Their names are Jim and Jeff.
