So like if you haven't watched Avengers:Endgame and you hate spoilers and stuff like that, turn away now. I might be a little bit buzzed rn so excuse my grammar and whatnot. So like I watched the movie today and like almost cried at this certain scene. Oh shizz there are no spoilers here but I kinda don't wanna delete that whole spoiler part in the begginign Anyways.. so like The one and only film that has ever made me cry was Titanic.. to my credit, I was like ten when I watched it. To see two lovers from different social classes end up torn apart like that broke my heart. So I was wondering, what other films have made you get all sniffly.. is sniffly a word? Sniffles.. what movies have given you the sniffles? Oh yeah, and why? What made those scenes so sad? Did they mean something to you? Anyways.. I'm going to drink a bit more. Goodnight yall.
Support. Lilo and Stitch made me cry. I think romance movies are kinda dumb tbh but anything to do with a real bond like with a pet or family member or best friend, i find it very emotional and it tugs at my heart strings. Another thing that is a show and not a movie is called Oh My Geum Bi. It's a korean show about a little girl who is diagnosed w childhood alzheimers. Her aunt who is caring for her after parents abandoned her goes and abandons her (childhood alzheimers usually kills the kids at a very young age so it's implied that the aunt isn't mentally strong enough to watch her young niece die). Anyway, this little dying girl goes and finds her father who is a criminal and they live in a tent and then move in with this former rich chick that the dad was tryna scam but she actually has no money because her millionaire father died and left her in a ton of debt and she's about to lose everything and all three of them become a little family just in time for the little girl to die. It's very sad and I got so emotional watching this the end
I usually cry at family-based movies and sometimes on the self-sacrifice cliche. I cried at one scene in Interstellar where the dad cried because he lost tons and tons of years in a few hours, and his kids lost faith in his journey back home. Mostly because the dad reminded me of my father (they both got those deep wrinkles lol) and it choked me up imagining what that must feel like. "Click" also broke my heart when the dad died and the protagonist just realized how much he should've cherished his parents. I personally prefer asian family-based movies though. "Shoplifters", "Miracle in Cell No. 7" and "Hello Ghost" are the absolute best tearjerkers.
