Book Talk

  1. So campus is too fast and full of thirsty people do I'll ask here.

    I'm reading "The Picture of Dorian Grey" by Oscar Wilde and I've noticed some parallels between the story and Goethe's "Faust."

     I don't feel like making a long atm so I'm just going ask if anyone who has read both books would like to discuss them with me.

    ,_, I know it's a long shot, but I feel like someone on pimd has got to have Faust and Dorian Grey.

  2. The Picture of Dorian Gray is one of my favorite books.
     
  3. I haven't read it yet but I have an idea of what it is.

    But I have a book to recommend if medieval forensics by a lady doctor interests you. It's called Mistress of the Art of Death.

  6. I like "Dorian Grey" so far, especially anything that comes out of Henry's mouth. Sometimes I feel like I'm the one being lured into his web of sinful pleasure.

    But, I will give you a book suggestion. Game Of Thrones. 

  10. I'm trying to finish Dorian tonight so I can start Jane tomorrow and finish by next week Monday. ? Then read Anna Karenina.

  12. I meant Jane Eyre  But I do plan on watching GoT. I can't read and watch something. It's either or unless it's a really great piece of work. Like Anne of Green Gables or Gone With The Wind. Or if it's a play.
