Epilogue The Wraith felt something that overcame his essence. His wretched, destroyed soul bloomed in a delightful sunlight. His burden became thinner with every second. He smiled, and said his last words: "Thank you..." he whispered. The souls, freed from his control, joined together and proceeded to stream...into their endless voyage. ~~~~~ All was bad, and the new elder Quarish knew it. Humans activated the gate by themselves, preventing the kobolds from ever meeting their masters... 'If we cannot destroy it with our gods...we will do it by ourselves' Quarish thought as he gave the orders for his troops. ~~~~~ The dirt thudded and smacked under my feet. We were in the middle of nowhere. "I still cannot believe this happened." Vera said, sighing. "Me neither, love. However, we must adapt." I answered. She smiled and felt the scar on my face with her fingers. Her touch seemed to smoothen my skin. Suddenly, the bushes in a front of us bursted and three people jumped at us. "Hey, sir-rah, traveling I see?" One of them said. He wore a rough set of leather armor, and a massive axe was hanging from his belt. His face could only be described as...thuggish. "Hmm? Nice gal you have there, too. Care to share?" He stepped towards us... and his face met my fist. He gripped his nose and fell on his back. Another one of the men charged at us with a long mallet, but was knocked into a tree by Vera's ferocious kick. The third man dropped his weapon and slowly backed down. He froze, scared. I did not know what to do. We could finish them off, but why? We could leave them, but that could come back and haunt us...The man in a front of me groaned, trying to stand up. Suddenly, an idea came to me. We are lost, teleported into an uknown forest. A sense of direction would be nice, and a pair of helpful hands. I reached out towards the hurt man with my hand. "Care to join me?" ~~~~~ THE END I really enjoyed this story, I hope you guys enjoyed it too and in the epilogue 3 bandits cough pervs gets owned lmao
