A pick and choose story? You mean like that Final Destination Movie?

 

i’ve never seen that movie but basically when the scene calls for it there are options that you can pick on the bottom of the screen that effect the story. some can be the wrong path so you have to go back and choose the right one. and for some, both choices are correct and you can choose either one.

 

Sounds very similar tbh. Ofc I was also gonna give this a try anyways since I love Black Mirror

 

Oooh! Crazy stuff!! Great and definitely mind boggling lmao. I just watched it a few hours ago with my boyfriend. So he watched it on his laptop and me on mine. And we both got very different ending. Definitely worth a try and definitely need to try it out again and again to get all the storyline they offered. Oh and I am so gonna see what happens when I didn’t choose any answer.

 

so far I've done 2 different endings, I heard there was 5. i just have to really pay attention since it doesn't let you rewind but I like that. my biggest mistake was choosing sugar puffs over frosties tho ;(

If I wasn’t a fan of black mirror original then I probably would’ve hated it which I still kind of did. But Final Destination did it better 100%

 

I noticed a whole bunch of endings. Sadly it seems I’ve gotten them all at this point

 

I saw this thread and immediately put it on to watch. Black Mirror is amazing altogether and Bandersnatch is wiiiild. I'm really enjoying it.

 

Bro this shít is fascinating. My bf and I are actually in separate rooms playing it now. I just finished, but apparently his is still going. I got the “train” or “toy” ending, don’t want to give anything away in case people see it as a spoiler.

 

Alright guys, buckle up, cause this is going to get bumpy.

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Let me begin by saying that I am very, very disappointed. Let me further explain... I thought this movie was absolute trash.

I am a huge fan of Black Mirror. I love the way it really makes you think, and it uses current issues and challenges everything. With that being said... WHAT THE ACTUAL FÜĆK WAS THIS MOVIE?!

When I originally saw this thread I was intrigued, so I watched it.
I thought maybe Im not good at this? Maybe I’m choosing the wrong paths? At one point it became so ridiculous I literally said out loud, “WTF”
Half of my story line was focused on PAC while the other half was alternate realities. So which one is it? There was no flow.

So I thought, let’s give this another chance. I had my boyfriend try it as I watched. I didn’t tell him what I chose, and he ended up choosing everything opposite what I did.
Duh, because why would we agree on anything? L O fûckîng L

And to my surprise, HIS WAS EVEN WORSE.
A terrible kill bill reenactment in a psychiatrist office? Was it supposed to be funny? Is he just a lunatic at this point?

I did however like the idea of challenging free will, that there really is no free will. I believe it took a shallow dive into the idea that everything from the government, the entertainment industry, our parents, etc influence the decisions we make.. (obviously I’m giving a broad and loose interpretation) and the fact that it basically tore apart Christianity in that God created man with free will. (Don’t argue, you’ll lose)

I also liked the entire seen involving acid. I thought that Collins rant was ? spot on.
Also definitely props for showing psychedelics as a way to view the world differently and not some hippy evil that ruins lives ? although the jumping from the balcony may have been dramatic af and unnecessary.

I like the idea of the show, I like that it was made to show that the choices you make change the outcome of your life. I like the idea that maybe not everyone who has thoughts or ideas perceived as “crazy” need to be medicated. I think that maybe sometimes there are things that the normal mind cannot challenge because they’re “scary” or “weird”.

BUT, the way that the show was made I do not believe lives up to Black Mirror standards. So I conclude, trash. Feel free to disagree but I will not change my mind.

it was fun would love to go back and see different endings

 

I just got really frustrated that it was even possible to choose something that was “wrong”, if it’s wrong, why is it an option? Like, obviously dude wants to say yes and make his game.
There were parts of the film I actually liked - the acid trip, Colin’s character as a whole... but the gimmick of interaction really didn’t ADD anything.
Did anyone else find themselves watching while homie tries to explain Netflix to his therapist?

I also hated how I didn’t really know how long it was going to take to finish the movie. I’m not sure I got a satisfying ending but I know it ended coz it’s Netflix and it started playing another show 

(This is the weirdest place I’ve kinda reviewed a film)

 

I love black mirror and have yet to do this, I want to catch up first, and ik there's no specific order too them, but the show really reminds me of a modern day twilight zone, which I was into as well except for the fact it was b&w

 

I JUST ADDED TO MY LIST CANT WAIT TO WATCH IT

 

I fell asleep twice...Bird Box is better
