Birthday present ideas for a 1 year old?

  1. So, my daughter will be turning one on August 21st and I have no idea what to get her.
My daughter's mom gave me a few ideas, but I didn't really like any of them.
Some of her ideas were bath toys, clothes, teething rings, stuffed animals, and shoes.
I know for sure that Im going to get her clothes and bath toys, but that doesn't seem like enough.
I'd really appreciate some legitimate ideas because I am seriously stuck.

  2. shes one...she would be happy with a rock.

  3. If her ears are pierced, earrings. A few small bracelets can be nice too.

  4. TheGod, I realize that.
Except she's my child and if I sent a damn rock to her mom with a note that said "Here's Delilah's birthday present. I hope it's enough," Id never see my child again.
    Please leave my thread.

  5. Her ears aren't pierced. :(

  6. Do you have a money budget? That coloring tent thingy for kids might be cool. You know the one with glow in the dark markers that you can draw on the sides I think?

  7. One of those bungie seat things that you hang up on the door frame

  8. No, Im not really on a budget. I spent $400 on Christmas presents for her last year. I hope I don't get that high with her birthday, but even if I did, I wouldn't mind. Lol

That coloring tent sounds like a pretty neat idea. Do you happen to know where they're sold at?

  9. Or a dictionary ;O U Can raise a lyrical genius from age 1

  10. Or a stuffed teddy bear. The new ones that you can record something with?

    Or maybe a Build-A-Bear works

  11. We got my daughter this toy that's a push walker with a detachable learning toy at the front. It really helps them with walking! She still loves it! Vtech makes it, it was 25-30 dollars. I think we got it from walmart. Look into it, she'll love it.

  12. I think I got mine at Walmart, when I was getting presents for my little cousin, Toys-R-Us would probably have them too.

  13. Crystal,

    That sounds dangerous... Ha
She has a swingset, with one of those "baby" swings and she loves it,. I don't think I'd trust hanging her from a doorframe, though.

  14. A push walker thing would be great.
But honestly at that age she'll prefer the wrapping paper :)

  15. Im Jopo.

    But it aint dangerous 
My little brother had it when he was little.

He only fell twice. No biggie

    Jk. He didnt fall.

  16. Right on.
I think she'd like the walker thing, considering shes starting to pull herself up and stuff. I'll definitely look into it.
And the coloring tent, too. I like those ideas.

  17. Oh, lol.
    Jopo, then.

Thanks for the idea. She sscreams if she touches grass. She'd probably die if she fell from a doorframe,

    Riccena,
That's how she was at Christmas. More interests in the colors of the wrapping paper. Lol

  18. Hmmm. Beside the walker thing, how bout like a kid play station? Not the console, but like one of those 'stations' that have a bunch of stuff for em to play with? Cant see it going over $50-100
