As we all know or most of us know there’s lots of players selling Bentos for cash. And we all know that’s against TOC of the game. So my idea is to have a weekly bento deal in Mollys, not only would this stop players selling them for cash but would help the trade market as more players would have Bentos At present there’s only Bento deals during BF So please support this post
I fully support the points above. We need a weekly Bento deal, or where we can buy in the shop...ATA are missing out on money because people on the pimd game are selling Bento's for real cash.
Yeah, but I mean be reasonable with prices. Even if they sold in game, if someone can get them at a cheaper price, why would they stop buying outside of the game if they’re already getting away with it?
The whole point of this is to stop players selling for cash ! It’s against the TOC of the game and if found out you’ve brought that way you’ll get your account perm banned
I don't know ways to cut the market so will defer this discussion to you but here are some relevant articles and points to consider. The Main issue, apart from possible legal trouble for developers, with Real World Trading is that is damages game balance. If all the items were cosmetic, it wouldn't matter, but if a small investment can make someone completely overpowered, it makes the game more pay-to-win and thus unfair for those who don't spend money and/or refuse to gamble their accounts. Real Money Trading – the Black Market of online gaming How Microtransactions Are Ruining the Gaming Industry Consider the way in which these deals add to the microtransaction problem which this game already faces. Diary of a black-market MMO profiteer What's your opinion on RWT? [Realmeye.org] Game Integrity: Real World Trading [Runscape official website] Real-World Trading [Runescape Wiki] The Carrot and the Stick [Nick Ryan investigation into "Gold Trading"] From most of my reading and seeing things unfold both here and on Runescape, I believe the best answer to the black market is a strong AI detection, bento anchors (huge fan), directly spying inside black market channels, and banning them in waves.
Like ither stuff. bentos should be able to be purchased from the store and not for the rackateers to over inflate prices.. ATA MAKE BENTOS AVAILABLE TO BUY
When I first started this game I use to see Mods in WC every day ! Now is as rare as winning the lottery😂 every day I see scores of players offering bentos for cash. This as grown and grown over the last year. Also if you read the original post I said weekly deals for bentos ( not asking for every day ) I also seem to remember a certain barcode who brought 100s of cats for the club which made them all bigger and then they destroyed 3 cat clubs ! So your argument of pay-to-win is irrelevant and there are bento deals during BF so I guess that makes your other comments irrelevant as well 🤗
Key word was MORE* pay-to-win. The game already provides more benefits to paying players than it should. Adding even more doesn't improve the situation.
not sure how they would take a massive hit ? Players buy bentos during Black Friday promo !! Only thing I see is the black market getting stronger which also shows me players want more BENTOS
just because you do t see us doesn’t mean we aren’t there, you cannot specifically silence a profile for cash transactions unless they state it is for cash which is the problem we have at the moment, the most mods can do is report those accounts to the devs without silencing it and let them look into it in more detail than we can. I’m not really for buying bentos with cash the reason it works at Black Friday is that it is a one off, if people could buy bentos weekly from the store then that has an effect on furni prices, prices of drops and anything worth ecs you can buy with bentos from other players
Why are Pep Bentos not valued the same as ‘Normal’ or ‘Standard’ ones despite them having stat equivalents? 😧
I mean if they didn’t mind the risk before, I’m sure they won’t mind even if it’s easily more accessible in game but still is OP. Like Black Friday prices.
