Enjoy this read. This is not a one shot. There's a lot more where this came from. Love it after just this bit? Then wall me to let you know about updates. -------------------------------------------------------------- "You're getting mad at me for making a logical conclusion?!", Neith could hear her voice rising with anger. "You assumed at first Neith!" Jack answered her strictly as his voice wavered to remain calm, his eye formed into slits as he glared down at her. "Yes, at first! Then I stopped and put the pieces together. They led to you! So either you're mad that I caught you or that I assumed first!", her voice became louder, reverberating off the opaque green lockers that lined the high school hallway they stood in. Jack shook his head and turned his back to Neith, stopping only as she spoke again. "The answer to my question Jack..." She cringed as her voice cracked. "You'll find out tomorrow Neith." With that Jack sauntered off, leaving Neith alone in the hallway. Neith waited till he rounded the corner and slowly counted to 25. After doing so she let her had run across the lockers as she trudged along the hallway, looking at the numbers and stopping at locker #207. Without hesitation her small fingers gripped the slide and pushed up, making the door pop open. Neith smiled, grateful she had convinced Jack to rig his locker. Her eyes scanned Jack's immaculate locker shelves, looking for anything out of the ordinary. She spotted a pile of folded papers on the top shelf. Neith raised an eyebrow and snatched up the pile, then slammed the locker door with satisfaction. She threw any meaningless papers down onto the scuffed tile floor. Under some of the papers her eyes caught a glimpse of glittery hand writing, she held the papers corner and let the rest float to the ground. It was a note. From Clarise. Neith's eyes began to read. ---- Jack you are the greatest friend I could have ever asked for. You've helped me so much these past few months, especially when Kain denied that the child in me wasn't his. But I am terrified, I wish the baby could have a father figure to look up to. Jack I love you, I know my age scares you and I understand. Just know that I love you. xoxo Clarise ---- "That little weasel...", Neith snarled, quickly folding the paper evenly and small. As she stalked away towards the exit she stuffed the note into her bra. Neith had a plan. The next day at school Neith didn't bother with looking for Jack, but she had watched him frustratedly try to remember his locker combination as he picked up the papers on the floor. Neith went through her first three periods contemplating the next period. The clock ticked slowly, making her fidget in her seat. A grin formed in her face every time she thought about the next period. Finally, the bell rang and Neith was never happier to be going to Phsy Ed. Neith threw her books into the locker she had been assigned in the girls dressing room. She hummed an old slow song as she undressed. "Neith...?", said a small meek voice from her left side. Neith slowly turned her head to the voice, making her short, cropped black hair fall into her eyes. There stood Clarise and her concave figure. Neith smirked. "I just wanted to say that I hope there are no hard feelings between us. I know we've had a few fits in the past and even though Jack is my boyfriend now, just know he still wants to be your friend.", Clarise gave her the most jolliest smile she could do. Neith's smirk disappeared. Then came back. "Clarise..." She stepped forward, then slowly circled her large orb and made Clarise step back, letting her back hit the lockers. "I'll let you know that I don't like you. I hate you. You're a weasel. You play stupid and coy to get what you want. You sure played Jack well.." As she spoke her hand was reaching into her own locker, retrieving the note. "I just love how you played the baby and father figure card on Jack. That's what got him I bet. Because, sweetie...he doesn't care about age." She handed Clarise her own note, chuckling lowly at her. Neith's fingers pushed Clarise's curly brown hair behind her ear as she leaned in a whispered. "I know that's not my brothers child in your womb. Kain has made love to me several times, and I have not gotten pregnant." Clarise made a noise to speak, but Neith's hand was quicker. Her fingers pinched her cheeks together, making her lips pucker out. Clarise's eyes widened, her puckered lips moved but no words came out. "Don't even try. No one will believe you Clarise. Cystic Fibrosis causes infertility. Pin the baby on someone else." Neith's lips curled into tne nastiest smirk she's ever produced. It quickly formed into a sweet smile as she let Clarise go. "Ciao!" Neith walked towards the Coach's office, hearing Clarise whimper and her feet tap the ground as she waddled out of the dressing room.
This is really interesting. A few grammar mistakes, but overall great writing. I'd love to read more.

Over his laughter Jack could hear the commotion that, undoubtedly, was being created by Neith. Once she had finally reached him, he acted as if she wasn't there. Which caused her temper to flare more. Everyone else at the table had become silent. Neith was not know by popularity, but by her quick temper and interesting way of turning things back around on the person she was arguing with. "We need to talk." Neith demanded, her eyes giving Jack the most hateful look. Jack just bobbed his head up and down slowly. Still not looking at Neith he rose from his spot, but a small, firm hand shoved him back down by the shoulder. One of Jacks companions whimpered out as if Neith had hurt him. This small noise made her head snap at the group and she gave them a dead, cold glare, which made them scramble away to leave the ex couple to talk. One of them Neith had recognized. It was Nicolai, the sophomore, football player. What was Jack doing talking to him? "Jack...why?" Neith asked as she circled the table to sit opposite from him. As she walked around Jack kept an eye on her. Neith always had this air of independence about her, and you could see it by how she walked. Jack couldn't spot it. Her gray, suede Vans shuffled against the brown grass as her shoulders slumped in her black, pleather jacket. Jack let out a very audible sigh as he rubbed his head with his large hands. "Neith, you really pissed me off yesterday. I laid in bed thinking about past things and I chose." He shrugged his shoulders, "Simple as that, but I also have another reason Neith." He watched Neith, something inside her was not right and he could see it. He reached out towards one of her hands, but instead of comforting her he stepped out of the bench and walked away. Neith sat there flabbergasted, her brown eyes threatening to let tears flow but she didn't dare cry at school. Neith jumped up, banging her knee on the stone table, but she needed to catch up to Jack. She began to jog to catch him before she lost him to the sea of students in the hallway. Her mind raced as to what the reason could be he had chosen Clarise over her, she shook her head as she realized how self centered that thought had sounded. Neith's small hand reached out and grabbed Jacks wrist, but he jerked away and turned to face her. "Neith enough!", He roared at her, to the point his nostrils flared. The sound of his voice made other students look up, but then went on with their daily school schedule. For once in her life Neith felt belittled by someone. He towered over her, his chest heaving up and down as he breathed out to calm himself. "You really pissed me off yesterday so I made my decision Neith." He hissed her name as he grit his teeth to remain calm. "Why her?", Neith finally abled herself to whimper out. The tears stung her eyes, but she held them back. "I told you from the beginning what she was up to. Yet I never told you to stop talking to her, because I trusted you." Neith inhaled deeply as her body shook with the emotion that surged through her body. "I even told you about Kain and me. Which stopped completely when I first started talking to you. Because I love you Jack and yet you betrayed me." Neith had reached her breaking point, she quickly turned and ran down the hall, getting knocked down as she ran into a small but well built frame. "Hey Neith, you ok?" Asked a concerned Nicolai. His strong hands gripped her arms, but Neith yanked away and began to run again. Even though her eyes had become blurry with tears she could see a smirking Clarise as she ran out the school entrance. From then on her travel was blurry, before she realized it Neith had arrived at the city hospital. Sighing she walked in and headed straight to the room her brother was being looked over in. As she arrived to his room the glass door slid open quietly. Neith could tell he was resting, so she stood by the door, watching his fragile body breath. A nurse tapped the glass, seeing Neith, once the nursed realized who it was she nodded her head in apology and continued. "Sister..." Said a groggy Kain, a sleepy smile on his face as he stirred to prop himself up. Once rubbing the sleep sand out of his eyes he noticed that his beautiful Neith's face was red splotchy. "Big Sister?!" He exclaimed. "Shh..."Neith quickly walked to him and climbed into bed, making him lay back down. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me right now." She have his temple a small kiss as she pushed her fingers through his short dirty blonde hair. The doctors had a hard time believing that Neith was Kain's biological sister. Neith was a full figured girl at the height of 5'2". Her eyes were a dark brown, that if she got mad they became black, her hair the color of unburned coal, and her skin was olive, bronzing even more in the summer. While Kain was a skinny lad, at the height of 5'5". Pale skin that tanned well in the summer, but lately it didn't. Dirty blonde hair that turned almost platinum in the summer sun, and his eyes, green as a rain forest after a weeks of rain. How they both turned out so differently no one knew, but they could not deny that the two had such a love no other siblings had. If only they knew. The next hours to come Kain and Neith talked and laughed. Watched a few movies and played games on the Xbox, that Neith had requested be installed into Kain's room. He became fussy when the hospital food came in, Neith eventually was able to spoon feed him after some coercing. Even though they were having a great time, Kain could tell that his sisters mind was somewhere else. He knew better then to ask, when Neith wanted to talk she would. When the hospital lights began to automatically dim Kain and Neith bundled up and laid in his bed, her arms wrapped around him protectively. Kain fell asleep first, his breathing a little heavy due to the mucus building up in his lungs. Neith's bottom lip trembled as she gave her brothers arm a squeeze and then allowed herself to drift off into some much needed sleep.
