    I think Id totally go for a religion that worships Bacon. Everything would make sense. 

  8. Nope! It'd mean that it would be like our daily bread. We'd have to eat it all the time to please the Bacon god, to receive the holy bacon spirit that blesses us with eternal bacon pleasure. 
