"I was thirsty beyond endurance. There was something oily on the surface of the water, but I wanted water so badly that I drank it just as it was."
    -Sachiko Yamaguchi

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein

  2. Did you go there??

  3. That line by Albert Einstein.... Legitness. I love that.

  4. Why ignore August 6?

  5. Us dropped bomb first at August 6 in Hiroshima, then second at August 9 in Nagasaki til Hirohito Emperor announced Japan surrender. The fountain was made as symbol that many 'hibakusha' or nuclear bomb victims have been died due to lack of drinkable water. Been 70th anniv

  6. Yes. That's why I asked why he ignored the first date

  7. Not about to abandon Hiroshima. If you counted all bombages in japan, on march 1945 Tokyo bay got bombed too, us's original target Kokura, Iwojima,Yawata etc got bombed too.

But reason why take ceremony on every August 9 at 11:02 (time of explosion) is declaration of world peach without nuclear weapons in future. So no more Nagasaki.

If you come to Atomic Bomb Museum in Nagasaki youll find the clocks forever stop at 11.02.
