ATA said that I'm not old enough to be a moderator. I put that I was 18 on my application a month ago. I'm actually 19 now due to the fact of my April birthday but why would they say I don't meet age requirements if 18? I don't care much that I got declined but do they always say things even if they don't know what they are saying is true? -_-
Ill bump the math thread after my exam that starts in 18 minutes. But why would ATA decline citing age as one of the reasons if I entered my age on the application and it met the requirement? They might as well not ask for your age if they are going to say that you aren't old enough to be a moderator. I fully understand that 60-75% of applicants say that they meet the age requirement when they really don't. If you, as ATA, think that this might be the case then you can site other reasons for declining someone such as that the application was unsatisfactory or something. But don't straight up say that it's because of age when you are just taking a guess They also said that they aren't accepting anyone from my region. Which is understandable but why have my region on the moderator form if you aren't going to accept them? You should remove regions temporarily from the form at the time that you aren't accepting from that region and say that anyone not in the regions listed below cannot apply. It'll save a lot of wasted applications...
Again, I'm not that bothered that I got declined and I expected to get declined to but can they at least not make up reasons for declining
You act as if the moderator applications should cater to you and your demands..... It's an application for a reason, just like they have them in jobs and such. Not really seeing how it's a waste of time if it's a universal format...
Dude read what he said. He said he doesn't care that he was denied, and that he actually expected to be denied. he's just saying, stop pissing in my britches and just give me a straight answer.
I don't honestly think, with this type of question, that you'll get a straight answer.. :| Because I can't possibly think of one -™
"After reading your moderator application you have been deemed inadequate and have been declined at this time. We thank you for your time and hope that you continue to enjoy Party in my Dorm." They could make this or at least it's good that they give reasons but give reasons that you have support for.
