This thread is telling. They didn't kill pvp. Pvp was being murdered when you joined and adopted the strategy of hoarding misc.

ppl would make alts and mass buy the starter packs and use it for their mains benefit. Same with ec. Ppl would use it for their rs’ benefit, especially if the alt was the rs (yes some ppl rs their alts)

 

People would also cycle through RS's and promise to return ec then break rs and block. :/
