Your function is continuous until you get to me, cause I ruin lots of graphs on planes x, y, or z. Infinitely cool, infinitely a tool…to complicate graphs and makin new rules. Polar coordinates nah I don’t need that, I stick to Cartesian and give young learners whack. I hide in denominators as a variable trip wire; the wrong value sets me off because ill keep getting higher. Travelin straight up youll see me on da moon, never gonna catch me but getting closer you can assume…that im impossible to reach no matta what you do, inifiniti for sure did you know I have other forms too? They find me horizontal and also oblique, im the coolest thing in the world don’t you think? I’m cousins with all trig functions except sinx and cosx, takin over the world but with no regret. If you want to challenge me well don’t even try, ill slice you discontinuous wherever you want to die.
Asymptotes are terrible. And I was totally going to ask you about my math homework one day, but I couldn't find you.
Oh nooo Well I was gonna make a math thread where people can talk about math, math jokes, and math homework but after emailing support months ago, they haven't fixed the plus sign so I can't make it
Yeah like x=y^2 is a horizontal parabola. It's like y=x^2 rotated clock wise 90 degrees. X=y^2 is also the same thing as y= plus or minus the square root of x
Yeah it's just a hyperbola. Lol I had a question on my non-calculator test the other day: Graph: 3x^2 plus 4x minus 6z^2 plus 2z plus 7y^2 plus 9y minus 5xyz plus 4xy I have to spell out plus on here because of forum glitch
It's really an elliptic hyperbollioid but my silly class calls it a "hyperbollioid of two sheets" which I guess is an ok name for it since its discontinuous in the middle for a few values
