arrogance...

  1. (Warning this is very long)

There's a level of arrogance going around PiMD, especially on the level of BC...and it's been around for a very long time but based on the level of threads made lately regarding how people BC...I decided to tell people...

    Who really cares?

Who cares how someone got their stats? Honestly?

It's all arrogance pure and simple, people say they want to stop people from a level of looking at people like they're above them and make them realize their stats are nothing...but if you're devaluing someone because they spent EC you're doing the exact same thing as those you're speaking too.

Why does it matter how someone got their stats?  I've heard everything from sending nudes for DV, EC, DN, 3x parties, DV in general, farming, PWARs...

How I got my stats, I farmed a lot once I actually got a farm list, when I was noobie my pupil didn't really help me and I didn't know about farms for a long time (whoops) , I had some nice people DV to me as well as strip tutors from me, I did jobs like crazy I completed my last job at 120 KCS , I was personally loved by a club farmed and he loved stripping me but sucked at the farming part...and yes I spent EC. But does that make me a ECBC? I'm using myself as a example lol because I can only talk about myself since I don't know others history with their journey to BC.

I've warred, I've partied, I've been admin of some clubs and have ran a club while owner is unable, I've farmed my butt off, I've helped noobs...so does the fact that I used EC and gotten DV in the past really diminish all that I've done?

I haven't been around as long as some which brings me to my next point of judgement...age on PiMD. I started playing PiMD May 26th of 2012...I'm not a old person on PiMD, Lois is but I'm relatively new. But there's a general "popular" table for the old folks  but there's also a general form of snobbery I feel.

Why can't we be judged by ourselves? Instead of how we became BC, or the time we spent on here or our stats in general?

Yes everyone should educate themselves about the product they're putting time into and money if they choose to do so.

I truly believe judgements about people should be taken as a person to person basis.

(And wouldn't it be a wonderful world if everyone did?)

Lol there's always going to be some form of judgement there's always going to be someone who you just purely don't like.

I forgot the point of this thread...oh yeah. Judgements... 

  2. I'm an old player and I Eced I was/am rather impatient not like it matters

  3. Oh yeah, anyways...

There's a constant level of diminishing people and I've done it myself, but it just upsets me when I see time and time again people diminishing others on the realm of how they got to BC...if they're using their stats to shove other people around and you don't like it. Farm them. Simple.

Could we just go back to farming people for shit we don't like? 

  11. ?At the end of the day good on the lcbc who didn't credit it must've taken a lot of work to do that, and for those who did credit to get stats good on you that's a lot of money spent

  13. Bravo. No offence to some of these 'older players' who act as snobs, but I see more of the 'newer generation' helping the community than I do them. Nobody should be diminished as a player for the way they wish to grow. In my opinion as long as that person has a good grasp on the gameplay and has earned their own respect, who they hell is anyone to tell them it's wrong for spending money? Sometimes people really need to remove the sticks from their arses and just get on with things rather than constantly blast people.

I absolutely understand frustration towards those who ec and never take the time to learn, then go around preaching just because their stats are higher. But to those who really do work hard and on their own account have taken the time to grasp the game, who cares how they grow?

Obviously these are just my opinions and aren't based on anyone in general.

  14. The ECBC vs LCBC argument is a byproduct of the changes in the game. The problem isn't the players who maxed their credit card to hit top stars. The problem is that everyone is choosing constant easy money to using the game to its fullest potential.

I don't see LCBC actually mingling with their tutors. I see BC hanging out in pro party clubs at the exclusion of setting the example. I'm as guilty as anyone, so I am consciously changing my habits to promote a better game experience.

I will say those with high stats who haven't tried to war or build tutors: you are selfish and have zero relevance. Congratulations on using the game for no other purpose than your own vanity.

  15. I mingle with all my tutors that are active and whomever that mingles with me. I don't care how you got your stats. just know the game. For the record, there are some older bc players that help people continuously in the game. just because one may not see it, that doesn't mean it's not happening.

  16. I've not been one to jump onto the "hate ECBC" bandwagon, however my opinion is that there are people who have earned the right to act superior to some others. There's a lot of time invested in BCing without spending tons of money, and those people definitely deserve more respect than those who paid their way through it.

This doesn't mean that all the people who ECBC'd don't deserve any respect. I think in some cases the harassment ECBC players get is a generalization for the ECBC that act, well, like you said, arrogant because they're LCBC when they really haven't done anything to warrant acting like hard asses. Because let's face, more of them than not do things most people here frown upon.

I can't really speak for anyone else, but this is how I see it and the reason why I'd poke fun at an ECBC.
