Are single gender schools better for students? What are your thoughts on this topic? This thread is to discuss your opinions on the question(s) above. Please refrain from any personal attacks due to disagreement.
There is no point in disagreeing. The only reason people think it's better is so that they can focus better on school. So what happens when they get in the real world and can't function properly around the opposite gender? No. If they can't do school work without fucking up their future just because the opposite gender is in the room, obviously they have problems .
Mixed is better cuz hello your going to have to interact with the opposite gender for your whole life. unless your a hermit then do ya hermit thing and don't met the world
Honestly separating genders won't do much. If anything it'll make the children more rebellious. I have a friend who went to a same-sex school and heard all kinds of stories about how they "interacted" with kids at the same-sex school of the other gender. Lol
Looks like everybody is gonna agrer, i agree too LOL. I found this idea on some website so i made a thread from it. YOLO
I can't speak from experience, but I think that it depends on the kid. That is, there's more to life than just school, so there's nothing stopping kids at an all boys or all girls school still interacting with the opposite gender elsewhere.
I don't think so, people should be able to learn and interact with people of both genders. Also, increasing the diversity of students in a class, and I believe this also extends to gender, helps more varying ideas to come up and be discussed.
I went at o an english grammar school-boys upto sixth form and tbh we were fine, the high school(girls equiv.) Was just the other side of the small town so although there were no girls in our class, we did know how to talk to them. And maybe this was partly due to the selectiveness of the type of school i went i found iit not to be disruptive although i've never been to a mixed school after primary level so i can't say much.. It did help guys to stay alittle more focused in school to
There are all girls schools. It would probably be good for you to go to one when you start 9th grade next year MeganKeep ya out of troubleWhat's high school called in UK?
^ Nice, you kinda just revealed Megan's age, and you just asked her some crap about where she lives. Nice job, peasant.
-less sexual tension -students don't have to worry about embarrassing themselves in front of the hot guy/girl in class -No stressing over perverts or the crazy chick that likes you in school -No PDA to bring the single kids down -No PDA to keep couples busy with something that ISN'T learning -Safer environment where all the students can relate with each other with at least something Idk what else but I believe it is a better learning environment because it keeps the focus on learning
You separate genders they are likely to rebel Plus girls are like drama mamas the bullying might be worse if it's just all girl and all boy I don't know just my thoughts
