I suggest time. Take your time to process your loss. Cry when you need it. But don't go too far. If you start to feel depression, find help, go out with friends, get distracted, etc. Don't ever monitor your ex social media, ask people to NOT tell you about her/him/??? if they find out anything. Avoid specific things or places that bring up memories...
