This will be my last thread. I wrote this yesterday night. Please read. 4 am here and just woke up because I was seeing visual and listening hallucinations. I amm too scared to go back to sleep. 1st hallucination (visual) >A man with a pistol (Not pointing at me, disappeared after a few secs) >Some female voice calling my name (Anon, anon. That woke me up. It was a smooth voice, not harsh or anything) >A snoring next to my left ear Inbetween those hallucinations there were some dreams, not nightmares just.. kinda weird. One was me getting arranged to fuck (and fucking) 2 of what I presume to be protitutes, the other one me was me and my granfather who does not have a very intimate relationship (we are kinda like strangers meeting every once or twice a year) and I tired to explain to him that once my problem is gone I'll prove to him I am not a loser (that's another story, I believe he thinks I am a loser but he has never stated so, maybe I am wrong) If it helps, I overate the last night (but it's not the first time I go to sleep with a full stomach) Before you resort to demons (although that's why I came here for) do you have a "scientific" explanation for this? Maybe this is not the right board to ask, prove me wrong. May I have a DV?
All I can say is that you were asleep, it's fine. If it continues when you're awake, you need to speak to someone
When I say speak to someone, go chat to your doctor and asked to be referred, or self refer yourself into a psychological therapy service. There's a lot out there that can help you now, don't be afraid to look into it Doesn't always mean tablets, there's a lot of options out there to help people with mental health issues. I know more about England but for anyone suffering depression, anxiety, eating disorders or any psychological conditions, you're not alone. There's probably somewhere locally that can help.
Usually dreams are conjured from deep inside the brain, more times likely than not an ossue you habe going on. So your dream about your grandfather might be an insecurity or something that's stresing you out. The snoring, you might of possibly heard yourself snoring, I've woken my self up by talking in my sleep. Not quite sure about the gun though, maybe you've recently watched a movie with a gun in it. The brain is a strange and complicated thing.
Are you having reoccurring dreams? In the dreams I remember, I usually see happen in reality, so sometimes I fear waking up sometimes. Guess that's opposite.
In case of the hallucinations, it might be Sleep Paralysis. It's a state of being paralyzed in your sleep so you don't act out your dreams. Normally it'll stop as you wake up, but sometimes people are still in sleep paralysis while they are woken up, making them see strange things till it wears off.. I don't know about your dreams though
I had a dream last night lol I woke up and cried I was like omg I've ruined my life Then I realised it was a dream LOL
