A tiny ball of blue light circled around the earth's atmosphere. Undecided if it would enter or continue to hover curiously over the multi-colored planet. As minutes ticked by, it made up it's mind to break the surface and enter into an alien planet that it had no knowledge of. It was in search of something, which itself did not even know what it was exactly. As it descended further in, heading straight for a rural state unbeknownst to those living there. Clouds flew by and disappeared from sight, trees and a river coming into view quickly. It took no time in landing just a bit aways from the river. The light grew bright blue for a millisecond and slowly dimmed down to nothing. A small form lay curled up on the ground, hugging her knees to her chest, her hazel eyes closed off from the world's view. Waist length ebony black hair pillowed out beneath her. The only garment keeping her covered, a knee length dress, it's thin straps hanging down her shoulders. It had been a long tough journey to finally find the place to start searching. Her heart ached as she yearned to find the missing piece to her mission. For now she would sleep. -Will be continued
A feeling of urgency swept through her. Twitching slightly as she forced her eyes open, squinting at the light seeping through the spaces between the trees. She groaned softly and pressed a palm against her forehead. Light green grey eyes shifted, taking in the surroundings. Her lips turned down in irritation, forcing her body into an upright position. She nearly fell back from the sudden nauseous attack that reared into her stomach. The air was crisp, damp and different from what she was used to. Her fingers worked their way to her hair, which fell down her back smoothly. A heavy sigh was released, and an attempt to stand was made. Her fingers worked quickly to gently pull out the leaves sticking in her hair. Steps were taken shakily and balance was attempted. But it did not stop her from falling a few times to her knees, she regained footing slowly. Adjusting to the difference in land and how long it had been since she had walked. Hazel eyes blinked sleepily at a berry bush nearby. She felt the low growl in her stomach. When had been the last time she had eaten? Shrugging off any further thoughts, she made her way over and hesitantly knelt before the beautiful ever green bush that held her breakfast. Her fingers stretched forward towards one of the branches, picking a berry off. A smile graced her angelic expression, bringing the ruby red berry to her lips. What she hadn't expected was company, " What do you think you're doing?! Those are poisonous!! Drop it now before you get yourself sick! ", A voice yelled behind her. She turned towards the male voice, accidentally dropping the berry in her fingers. A gasp escaped her, hazel eyes clashing with the most beautiful amber colored eyes she had ever seen in her existence.
This is a good start, but a plain old romance would be extremely boring. Give the story some depth, a plot.
Unruly brown hair ontop of a well rounded head caught her attention. Her eyes strayed slowly down to take in his somewhat muscular build. Then returned to stare back at the amber eyes that caught her gaze. Her cheeks flushed as she had been caught checking him out. Who would ever thought she would have felt that way towards a human. He glared at her in annoyance, " Why are you staring at me?! So weird. Is there a reason you're out here alone in the woods? Not my problem but if you get attacked by some dirty old creep. Then you have no one but yourself to blame. ", His eyes scanned her from head to toe. She was cute, but he had no time for girls or their problems. The young 18 year old had a mission to complete. One in which he wouldn't let anyone get in the way of. Pivoting on his heel, he walked away from her after she refused to reply but merely gaze at him in confusion. Tilting her chin slightly in defiance. She glared at his back, moving back towards her new finding. Grabbing a few berries off the bush, she shoved them into her mouth. Chewing alittle before swallowing them. What would this stranger know about food? He seemed very young and naive to even know anything about this planet. Although that did not stop the guilty sinking feeling in her stomach. She felt fine, couldn't have been any harm in eating them. He probably just wanted them for himself. Her eyes watered as she grasped at her throat. Her whole body began to feel as if it was set on fire. Knees hit the ground with a loud thud, dropping her head against them. She gasped for air, eyes widened with fear. A screamed forced out, vision disappearing before her eyes. Who knew that such beautiful berries could hold such evil in them. Perhaps she should have listened to him. Strong arms enveloped her, lifting her up bridal style. Her hearing already begun fading out as she fought to remain conscious. They weren't even on a first name basis, or any name basis for that matter. Yet while carrying her to god nowhere, he thought it fair to yell at her. Her eyes blinked several times before slowly closing. Much to his dismay, he had to move fast.
" My name...my beginning " Chapter two My name is Misuki, I'm an angel from heaven. I was sent down to earth to find the ' one ' who would aid us in our battle against evil. I know neither my parents or family. I lost my life at a tender age, in which god took me under his wing and showed me my path. It's a lonely journey, one in which many wish not to risk taking. But someone has to do it, and I was the only one brave enough to step up. I had already died by drowning, how worse could this path be? My age is unknown, time matters not when you are in heaven. It goes by as if nothing else existed. When I left to find the 'one ', i left behind the chaos. Heaven has an unnatural beauty in itself. There a gardens everywhere, the clouds are like cotton candy, balls and parties almost every day. It's wonderful, the wind never felt so gentle before. It was as if you were living in a fairy tail, so perfect. But perfect never lasts when you are the enemy of evil. They were always jealous of us, feeding off the hatred and emotions of humans. Set out to destroy anything that was pure and good. That is when they struck us, out of the blue and without warning. Angels flying past to batter off the demons threatening our existence. God ordered us into our battle stations. Weapons clash and both sides charged. I was pulled aside for a special mission. One in which I take pride in. Very few are chosen for these assignments. As he pressed the scroll into my hands, my eyes fixed upon his holiness. His expression was grave but he pressed a hand to my back and urged me on to leave. Even now as I think back to the last look I got at my home. I can not stop the tears from flooding my eyes. Angels and demons alike were grappling with one another, tearing at wings and slicing off flesh. I shudder to think of what would be left if I do not get back in time. ----------------------------- A whimper escaped her as she rolled over onto her side. Hands gripping the white sheets into her clenched hands with a fierce grip. The nurse near by walked over, gently placing a new damp cloth on her head. The fever, they were hoping would be broken within the hour. Having already giving her antibiotics to fight off the poison in her system. Sighing softly, she stepped away from the bed and went back to attend to other patients. Misuki bit her lower lip until she could taste blood in her mouth. Eyes fluttering open with a jolt of realization. She gazed up at the chalky white ceiling, a small pain throbbed at the back of her head. She hissed lightly and shifted her attention to the room. Everything was white, except there was no furniture, just a bed and a closed window with white drapes shielding it from view. Her pupils dilated in fear, she had no idea where she was and she felt as though someone ripped her entire stomach out. And where did ' he ' go?
