I had never been a particularly srong girl. To be perfectly honest I was weak and shy; And at the best of times, I let that get the better of me. It wasn't until now, in which I stood in front of the man I have loved for years, that I felt strong. It might have been silly, but it was then I quoted Meredith Grey from the show, Greg's Anatomy to him. Those words she said to Dr.Derek Shepherd... "Pick me. Choose me. Love me." Just standing there and looking at him, I knew he wasn't able to choose. He looked saddened and troubled but I needed to know. I wanted to know if my feelings had finally reached him... If his feelings were the same as mine. Since I was a child it had always been his words that had comforted me. I loved him. I loved him so much. But this is not where our story started. Our story began 12 years ago when I was an eight year old child. My father was the CEO of Ashford Designs. A company that designs buildings and is famous for the designing process of the Ashford Mall in our home city of New York. My father was a typical business man who was always looking for new business partners. When I was five he had finally found someone who would help him a great deal later on in life. His name was Nemian Johnson, a business man like my father. He was the CEO of the construction company that would help my father create Ashford Mall. They had made a deal that when I was old enough, I would marry into the Johnson family and their companies would join to make Ashford and Johnson. I was told this when I was young but I had not understood what that truly meant.
