I was home alone. My parents were off on a buisness trip, as they usually are, so being alone was pretty normal for me. The afternoon sun glistened through the large window, bouncing playfully on every mirror and peice of metal it could reach. I laid on the soft, white couch as I watched my favorite tv show on our large flat-screen tv. People would assume I had everything; a mansion of a house, my own car, latest up to date gadgets, everything I could have asked for. They were so wrong. I'm so lonely here. I have no friends I can text, my only best friend didnt even have a phone and was gone the whole summer. My parents are always gone, and hardly ever answer their cells. Sure I have a nice house, but it seemed so vacant, being I was practically the only one who lived here. I was beginning to drift off when I heard a noise. Some sort of bang... Where did it come from? My foggy eyes were beginning to become more clear, and I sorted out all the jumbled mess in my brain. The door. Someone was knocking on the door. I grumbled as I slowly stood up to stretch, and paced over to the front door and opened it. No one. There was no one at the door, or anywhere in sight. Was this some sort of joke? I looked around to see if I could find a body somewhere as if to be hiding in the bushes or a tree. Nothing. "Huh..." I mumbled as I closed the door and walked back to the couch. Just as I sat down, I heard another noise, but this time, it came from inside. WHAT THE HECK?! "I'm the only one here," I thought to myself, "it's just you getting paranoid from being alone so often." No reason to panic. I closed my eyes, to hear a distant 'bang' of a door closing. "Okay, now it's time to check this out," I thought. I slowly creeped my way up the stairs towards the noise. As I reached the top, I saw the shadow of a figure in front of me. It didnt even look right, it was wrong. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it definitely shouldn't be here. I turned around quickly to find nothing behind me. What? My heart beating fast, I quickly ran to my parents large room ad slammed the door. "What should I do?!" I quietly asked myself. And then it hit me. My parents pistol. "Where did they say they hide it in case case of emergencies?!" I nervously whispered to no one in particular. My eye caught on their large, Mahogany chest of drawers and then I remembered. "The middle drawer to the left.." I repeated over and over again as I searched for it. It wasnt there! As I closed the drawer, there was a loud banging on the door and the small knob rattled continuously. Panicking, I ran into my parents closet. Even for how big it was, I felt clostrophobic. Suddenly, the banging and rattling stopped, and seconds later, there were slow, creaking footsteps headed towards the closet. I held the door knob tightly, so if whoever it was tried, would have to fight me to get it open. Suddenly, there was an ear piercing noise, and a small silver light shown through a tiny hole in the door. It was then I realized the sharp pain in my chest. I looked down, to find blood trickling down my shirt, soaking the light colors in a dark red. Nervously, I watched as the door opened slowly, and the last thing I saw before I passed out, we're glowing, enraged, maroon colored eyes.
Suspense omg . I was practically biting my nails reading this . It's great so far! Just put an extra space between paragraphs for neatness. Check for spell mistakes, but it's overall great . I can't wait for the next update!
Hahaha yea, I kind of realized when I didn't put spaces for paragraphs after I had already posted it, and the mistakes are just things I read over and missed. But thank you!! I am planning for what ill do next to continue the story...
Give me more! This story is amazing, the only thing I'd improve would be the paragraph spacing, but this was already mentioned.I was thinking of doing my Fan-Fiction News Letter again, and if I do, a piece on this story, and many others (including Pressured), would be amazing!
