tick tock tick tock That's all they ever hear. The sounds of the clock surround them. Hypnotize them. They walk. But they don't go anywhere. Just around in circles. Around and around, over and over. They live alone in little houses, miles from any civilization. Nothing with them. Only some food, and the clothes on their backs. No one to talk to, or even to look at. No one love. No one to love them in return. No hopes, or dreams. Just thoughts jumbled up in their heads. They don't speak. Only think. They never know what the world is like outside of their minds. They hardly open their eyes at all. Why would they? They have nothing to look at anyway. Literally? No. Inside their heads this is what it feels like. They are all around us, but no one seems to notice them. They walk the streets each day. They are people too. Just people without love in their lives.
