Addonexus Prologue Death, it’s not romantic, spiritual, beautiful, or pleasant, it’s cold, ugly, lonely and agonizing, it hurts everyone involved, and it is something you never forget, it’s forever… you can never rewind the clock and bring them back. We are all heading toward the day we die, every second is another second of our lives gone, don’t waste it live for everything and everyone, because you can never get a moment back. Shell 1 Addonexus “Addonexus, Ahh it’s many years since I have heard that name, I still wonder who gave me that name, well I guess that doesn’t really matter now does it?” “Sir?” A pretty girl in pink hair taps me on the shoulder as I continue to be lost in thought. “Sir?!” “What?” I ask. “Can you let me through or are you going to block this corridor all day?” I run my fingers through my long black uncombed hair and laugh. “I think you have just answered your own question, now didn’t you?” She stares at me with her sweet and kind green eyes almost like they are pleading for me to move out of the way, I don’t care, it doesn’t matter to me, nothing does, this world is pointless and so is this sad pathetic life. I have become a shell of my former self, I’m nothing like I was in my younger days. The girl continues to plead with asking me to move out of the corridor so she can head to her dorm, I continue to ignore her as she gets even angrier. “Look sweet heart if you want to get through pay the toll and I’ll gladly move.” She looks at me like she is about to cry then she asks “How much?” “For you darling? 15,000 Reytle.” She check her purse “I only have 10,000” “Uggh, I guess I can adjust for the economy, Fine 10 will do.” She quickly pays me and I move my cases and my sword that doubles my own body size, she walks through the narrow corridor carrying what appears to be a custom staff, has three banners hanging from the silver handle, leading into a bow of a sort. “What an odd weapon.” I say out loud. Well the bright side is..., I have enough money to board the train out of this academy, not like they taught me anything useful anyway. I sling the massive blade over my shoulder and head out of the white metal narrow corridor and walk into a massive blue and white lobby complete with electric hollow grams reporting the latest news and showing the newest advertisements. Two girls walk by in front of me they are wearing the academy’s uniform, it’s a tight fitting white and blue outfit, although most student choose to upgrade theirs while they train here but these girls must be new comers cause their outfits are very plain with no armor or shield variants. I myself have chosen not to wear the Academy's uniform not since "that" day at least, instead I wear a black cloak with a tight fitting grey long sleeve shirt and heavy combat pants, my Hex pistols with their black carbon fiber grips, gleaming silver slides and body rest at my sides. My sword rests on my back it is as tall as me and weighs a little less than a ton, it's blade is a elegant silver stainless steel and the hilt is made out of light weight and strong carbon fiber. There I go again getting lost in thought... I really need to get the hell out of this place, after all it is my last year, I don’t want to complete it anyway, too much drama has happened for me to care to complete the course. I exit the building and step outside into a bright sunny day, the three moons appear to be as dull and boring as ever, why the hell are they green, red, and blue anyway? What am ‘I asking you for? You don’t know... uggh whatever, damn where is the train station?” I make my way down the well kept sidewalk and eventually find the train station, it looks worn down as ever, the beams on the roof are almost falling down and the lights barely work. I make my way to the cashier, uggh did this guy ever brush he teeth in his entire life? I pay my money and then begin to board. Then the guard stops me. “Hold on a second kid, we need you to place any and all of your Armarattors in the secure section of the train.” I look at the guard, He appears to be having a rough day especially with the dark circles around his eyes and the stress lines on his forehead. So I give in, sure I said I don’t care about anything but why start a fight? Besides I’m not going to need my Armarattors for very much longer anyway. Walk toward the back of the train and figure out why the guard looked so stressed. The back of the train has char burns and dents all over the place, almost like it has been to war, I place my sword and pistols in the secure container and then make my way back to the passenger’s car. The Conductor then stands up and shouts our destination. “All a board next stop Semndia!”
Shell 2 Long Journey to Semndia I manage to find my seat, I sprawl out across the three seats, one not caring if someone seat is here, two if they do complain I’ll make them wish they didn’t. I prop myself against the side, with my legs facing the aisle. My eyes begin to get heavy and I doze off..., I’ am awoken by the sound of electric blasts near the rear of the train. “EME?” I ask myself. The conductor runs from the engine room and passing my seat, I catch a glimpse of his face, all I can see is fear, My mind begins to race, what is he scared of, what happened, why do I care so much?” I glance out the window, and realize we are just in the middle of Gurian Desert, and the only thing that comes to mind is that we under attack, by smugglers. I see some academy students sitting a few seats in front of me, I can tell what going on in their heads, as they are thinking the same thing I' am . Soon as I stand up they stand up too. “Come you are thinking the same thing, let’s stop wasting time.” They glance at me, then activate their uniforms, One has red runes flow over his chest and tribal accents flowing down the rest of the uniform. “Mage type Huh?” I say under my breath. The other activates and small transparent blue glowing blades extend from his metal wrist cuffs, the blade itself is just condensed energy forced into the shape of an arrow. “Even better an Arc class.” I reach down and grab my trench coat and arm shield. “What is your name?” The mage asks. “I believe I didn’t give it.” The Arc chuckles, We make our way to the secure area of the train. The Mage blasts off the lock using a melting conjure. “What kind of Armarattors do you use?” The Mage responds “I use Nycist boosters.” A friend of mine used that kind, he end up getting killed by a Velpian, I’ll explain more on those some other time. I pull out my massive Sword, then retrieve my Hex pistols, I place the pistols in their holsters and then grab the strap to my blade and sling it over my shoulder. Mage asks again. “So seriously you’re not going to tell me your name?” This guy is starting to get annoying. “Fine, name is Addon, happy?” The mage’s expression changes like he just figured something out. I Place my hand on my eye brows, “Why? Why did I say my name?” I ask myself. The Mage Chimes in “You’re Addonexus, I knew it!” The Arc seems to not care as he puts on his EME arm cuffs, they are something to see, I always liked the Arc class type, but I ended up leaning toward the X class. He activates the Cuff and blue glows flow out and shape into points, a rune is clearly seen in the transparent glow. “So you got my name, what is yours?” The Mage’s Eye widen “Mine? I’m Ragerium Magistri, Most just call me Rage though.” The Arc chuckles again. “Yeah that is because most people don’t want to say Ragerium every time they talk to you.” “Whatever, enough talk, lets get out there.” We begin to head for the next car when it explodes and then continues to roll toward us in a ball of fire, the hover pads on the bottom break off and fly in all directions, a small piece of metal flies by my head and sticks into the wall behind me. Then out of the smoke comes 5 hover ships. “Great, I quit the academy so I didn’t have to do this anymore. I pull out my pistols and the two guys next me get ready too. The Arc takes off first, using the ability to jump farther and lands on the closest Hover Ship. I aim my pistol and fire. The EMEPs fly out my hand cannon at a high velocity and I watch as they rip through the smuggler’s body, splattering blood all over the rough metal surface of the hover ship and falls clutching his wounds as blood pours out. Rage fires a red orb exploding and sending one of the Ships into the air, it begins to come down landing on the same ship the Arc is on. The Arc cuts through the ship by extending the blade on his arm cuffs. Then a hover base shows up in the distance and begins to fire it’s turrets at us, the Arc jumps off and lands next to me. “You guys ready for round two?”
Shell 3 Smuggler's Run “You guys ready for round two?” I speak Somberly, My voice feels heavy, I’m tired of fighting, I have been doing this since I joined the academy and I don’t want to do it anymore. Glancing to my right, the mage, his legs are steady and his stance is strong, just like a kid he wants to fight, not even showing signs of fatigue. The Arc his face is strong, willing, When he speaks, he speaks in eager tones, ready to battle, his stance is fierce, he clicks his hollow glowing blades together, ready to attack again. I grab the metallic blue accented blade, it’s heavy and took many years before I could wield it in a full swing. The Metal is cold to the touch, “Ahh How long has it been since I have held you, ehh Nexus?” My arm shield activates and I prepare to jump, the floating base aims it’s barrels at us, they are smoking and I can clearly smell the Electricity from the expired EME. It shoots once more blasting electric waves into the air as the round impacts the ground. The Arc takes off first, jumping onto the Floating base. “Now or never.” I coldly say. My legs feel like springs as I jump activating my armor just beforehand. My body lands on the front of the base, vibrations shoot through my body, starting at my legs and then reaching all the way to my spine. My blade is still clutched in my right hand as I make my way to the top of the structure. The Arc has gotten in a sword bout with one of the Base guards, and as soon as I reach the top, I’m cut in my side, I wince as I feel the cold steel leave my flesh, I begin to groan and my muscles tense up as my body begins to repair itself. My crimson red blood spills all over the hard metal floor, the wound fully repairs and I steady my feet ready to attack , we dash toward each other, our blades connect, and I feel the vibrations run through my arm and once more hit my spine, we back off, and dash once more. Our blades clash, and the hot sparks flash by my face, then we begin to trade swipes, our weapons flash so fast all you can see is the blur of the edges. Finally we break away, sensing enough room is in between us and I pull out my Hex Pistol. I can smell the gun powder ready to explode, the gun goes off, my bullet makes a high pitched whistling sound and flies by my opponent’s face, he smiles please with his own dodge. He stops guarding with his weapon and aims it at me like he is holding a rifle. A Orange EME glow illuminates at the end of the sword, I take my chance and unload a barrage of bullets. He is hit by most and his EME blast shoots off missing me and explodes into an orange mist behind me. My opponent falls to one knee, his blood dripping all over the rough steel. I aim once more and finish the job, the heated shells explode from the hammer of my hand cannon and many rounds tear through my opponent's body. His blood splatters all over the rough steel and then he falls face first, motionless.
