Earlier today I had a moment to sit. I wasn't thinking about anything in particular at that time, I was just sitting and looking at what was around me. After the moment had passed and something caught my attention, it made me think about how rare these moments when you do absolutely nothing are. These days we almost always have something begging for our attention. Whether it's a person talking, you doing an assignment, playing a game, or thinking about your day/life, people nowadays practically always have something on their minds. When is the last time you sat down and did nothing? If you haven't done so recently, I challenge you to take a minute and do it. It will feel wonderful. ️↝❥мͥɑgͣsͫ✾↜️
And playing pimd isnt a waste of time? We do a lot of things everyday that could be considered a waste of time because they are not the least bit productive, sitting down for just a minute and not doing anything, just taking in your surroundings can feel wonderful, and isnt one wasted minute worth that feeling?
Sometimes I do the same thing. It really is a great feeling just to let go of everything that's bothering you and let yourself wander away.
How is doing nothing wasting time? I mean, you've found time to do nothing, right? Just relax and enjoy yourself.
But isnt playing pimd, watching tv... also a waste of time? So wouldn't that logic say that you should do also these things when you're dead? What is your definition of a waste of time?
Sometimes I take a break and just stare at something in the distance and focus on my breathing. Helps you remember you're alive and that there's a big world out there.
I love doing this, and I have actually been doing it a lot lately. Sitting back and just taking the world in that's around you . I think it's going to keep getting harder with how fast technology is growing. But it is so good for your mental health and clarity, and reminds me how beautiful nature and our planet is. I came up with my new name because I have been spending a lot of nights lately on my back porch star gazing. Simple little things Thank you Mags! What a refreshing post!
