No. They're players like you an I. The devs' inboxes are all open. That's called the help section. Yw
Theyre players like you and I. Yes thats right! They deserve privacy, but then by all means saying NO means limiting the possibilities that they could help players in need.
Same goes for unions and worker productivity. Mods are volunteers. Not even emoloyees, let alone slaves.
People can wall them, send them gifts, message the continuously open help section, or press and hold messages that break ToU, and report them themselves... You're being silly, OP. I appreciate the BB codes, though.
I think that it should be open for a short Time period. Within 3 hours and having two mods watching chat at a time would definitely benefit the game. Given that sometimes people don't feel the need to open a ticket when there is a perfectly working mod right in front to answer said questions. But that leads to: Will the mods respect this interaction or simply make a joke of it. Will the players recognize the difference between an easy question that a mod can answer or a difficult one that should be taken to the ticket section.
Usually if the question is so simple that a mod can answer it then there's probably a guide about it in the guides section. Mods are also players and should deserve some privacy.Again no one pays them to do that job , it's just a couple speakers and a green name. You can send the message with a gift if it's that personal and then again if the mod is okay with you adding him/her then okay but don't push it or take it for granted.
Personally, my inbox is closed for moderator issues unless it is necessary to have a longer conversation about the issue. In which case, I will unfollow afterwards. I always check and reply to my wall and gift box messages. Prior to becoming moderator, I was in a similar place. I cleaned my friends list and only kept players who I talked to often enough. I haven't changed anything about how I use my friends list since becoming a moderator ?♀️ and I don't plan to. Tl;dr: No, I don't think moderator pms need to be open
I always try to keep my privacy on track. But at times certain player use to send me gifts with a message saying follow please which I admit I follow immediately only to find out later that they are up for trade or try to ask the most basic questions which I think is not so private and is ok to be discussed in walls. So now, as for me my pm is closed. Unless that person will wall or send gift with a message stating their reason for following.
