A New Perspective: Sequel of I Got Brave

  1. As I got up from a nap, I started walking downstairs. Although I was 16, somehow naps accommodated to me. My spiky, black hair was messed up now.

I walked to our big, shining, clean bathroom, and looked in the mirror. My hair is messy, but I look pretty good, I might keep it. I looked at my small beard, needed a shave. I took after my dad, Wesley, my facial hair grows horrendously fast.

My muscles, were pretty big I suppose. My dad made me take mixed martial arts such as himself, although I didn't like it much. My nicely chiseled face was probably my best asset. Girls found me attractive, just like my dad. I'm always compared to my dad.

I didn't date much because I don't like drama. I only like one girl, and she refuses to date me, so I don't even try anymore. Instead I spend my time with my friends. Don't get me wrong, I go to the movies from time to time with a girl, but just for fun.

School tomorrow, and it's going to be easy as usual. I was pretty smart, and I had a strong voice in singing. I sound perfect right? Wrong. I like all the wrong girls, I barely have any friends, and my mom Abbey scares me just a tad bit.

Anyways, welcome to my life. I hear my mom already calling my name, Tyler. She is telling me to get some dinner. I wish I had something to do this weekend, but no luck.

    *Timeskip to tomorrow*

Alright all, this is the sequel I promised you. This is leading up to yet another sequel, going back to Wesley's POV. Tell me what you think and if I should continue. Thanks.

  2. Bump! CONTINUE UNLESS YOU WANT TO MEET TIGEY!!!!!!!!!

  3. Bump! This is gonna be AMAZING!

  4. Walking into the classroom, I noticed people staring at me as usual. I also noticed everything else. My dad has this talent for observation he basically implanted in my brain. I can't get rid of it even if I tried!

"Hey Ty!" Most of the girls say, except Silvia. She never says anything to me, which is ironic since she's the girl I like. Oh well, moving on.

I sit by myself, but like always, a girl comes to sit next to me. I won't lie, I can be a bit of a player if I want to be, but I haven't been one since the beginning of the year.

"Hey." She says. I ignore her. "Why are you ignoring me?"

She waves her hand in front of my face and I grab it. I'm a nice guy, so I wouldn't hurt her. Instead I kiss her hand and say: "I don't need to say anything for you to be able to tell I think you're cute."

I had a big smirk on my face, and turned back to the teacher. While he was babbling on, I imagined life without having a bunch of pointless distractions.

"Hello? Ty! Hello?" The girl repeatedly says trying to get my attention.

    "Oh, hi." I say.

"So, how about the movies on Saturday?"

"No, I'm sorry. I have plans."

"With who!?" She says irritant. I don't take well to attitude, so I said something a little witty.

    "Not you."

"Be quiet back there!" Said Mr. Selby.

    "Yeah, ok!" I yell back.

He shuts up because he doesn't like confrontation. After class is over, I go to my usual classes. It isn't until lunch where the real fun starts.

I step into the lunch room, and sit down because our lunch is always repugnant. I watch people, and their habits when a girl I don't recognize sits next to me.

    "Hi!" She says.

    "You're from California?"

    "How did you know?"

"Well, your wristlet says California, and you have a pretty nice tan."

"Oh yeah, that! Pshhh, I'm such a blonde sometimes!"

"I'm just observant, you're probably pretty smart. I'm Tyler."

"I'm Shelby. Nice to meet you Tyler."

"Cool. So, I'll see you later." I start to walk off.

    "Wait!"

    "Yeah?"

    "What's your number?"

I give her my number and walk to some of my friends, and we talk for a bit. They pester me about Shelby, when I don't even like her, like that anyway.

I get home and see my father cooking in the kitchen.

"Tyler, why don't you ever go out with girls?" He asks as a joke.

"Because you told me about your childhood."

    "Touchè."

I walk into my room, putting my black backpack down. I lay down planning to take a nap. I get a call from a random number and answer the phone.

    "Hello?" I say.

    Tell me your thoughts everyone.

  5. Bump update now!!!!! Tigey is hungry

  6. I need more bumps!

  7. Don't make TIGEY come out

  8. "Hello." I hear a voice on the other line.

    "Shelby?"

    "How do you do that?"

    "I recognize voices."

"Oh cool. So, I'm having a party on Saturday. Do you want to come?"

"Well, I love parties. But I never go without a date."

    "I'll be your date."

"Alright then, I guess I'll come."

I was thinking about skipping out, but I haven't been to a party in a long time. So, I decided I'd go. For now, I need a nap.

    *Saturday*

The party is at 8:00. It's 7:00. I decided I better get ready. I put on a clean, red shirt, along with some jeans. I didn't really dress up for parties. I didn't overdo the cologne either, I didn't even wear it.

I went out to my car, turned it on, and started driving to her house. She texted me directions the night before. I arrived and could hear the loud music booming through.

She had good taste in music, with some Matchbox 20, even some Three Days Grace. Anyways, I walked in trying to find her.

When I finally found her, she was more drunk then that guy who couldn't even say officer. I never drink, I don't believe in it.

    "Ty-Tyler. You-you made i-it!"

    "I think you need sleep."

    "N-no. I'm fine!"

I picked her up, which kind of pissed her off a bit. But, she needed sleep. I took her to a bedroom I thought was her's and laid her down.

    "Ok, Shelby, no more drinks."

I walked downstairs, and realized it was gonna take some effort to end this party.

    Bump, for more. Lol

  9. Kids on the floor, kids drunk, kids fighting. I pulled two kids from a make out session, and started yelling: "PARTY IS OVER!" They all froze.

    "Everyone leave! Now!" I yelled.

"Why should we?" A voice came. He started charging to the front of the crowd.

"The host is unwell, and can not tend."

"So? Why don't you take over?"

Why not right? Karaoke, girls, music, pool, video games. I can't believe I'm doing this.

    "Alright." I said.

Everyone started going to the karaoke stage. I decided I should sing some. Everyone pretty much sucked because they were all wasted. I got up there, and put in some soft songs and pretty much put on a concert.

Being on stage is where I wanted to stay. But, I knew I need to get home. It was 3:00 A.M. I went out to my car after everyone finally left.

I drove home, thinking that I needed sleep. I went to my after I got inside. I laid down on the bed, and drifted to sleep. I was exhausted. Now I know how my father must have felt.

I woke up to yelling, and went downstairs. Some girl was here, I wasn't sure who. I'm a brave man, so of course I'd do this.

"Hey! Who the hell are you?"

"Who are you to be talking to me like-Oh my god! He looks exactly like you when you were his age!" She said dropping her attitude.

"Kristen! Don't talk to my son!" My father piped up.

"So you're the famous Kristen? My god! Well, I hope you don't mind me saying to get the hell out of my house."

    "Wh-" I cut her off.

"Get out." She scampered out angrily.

My dad told me all about her, and wasn't mad at me for doing that. Actually, he gave me a highfive with a "nice job."

That wasn't the last I saw her however.

    Bump for more.
