A Good Way To Go

  1. These diaries were found sewn into a quilt.

I never thought I would die this way. But, dying in the place of someone you love, seemed like a good way to go.
"Go! Before I change my mind!" Yelled Marco, after me. I looked back at him, and ran as fast as I could through the pouring rain. I ran, and ran, and ran. And, eventually, I ended up in the forest, behind a tree, watching Sam Mercies and Jerome Von Bleaker. They were two humans, but, they were also my two targets.
"I love you, Sam," said Jerome, softly.
"I love you too." exclaimed Sam. They kneeled down on the forest floor, hugging each other tight. It seemed rude to interrupt, but I knew I had to. "What's that shadow? In the bush?" Asked Sam.
"I don't know," replied Jerome. They stood up, afraid of what might jump out at them. Eventually, I walked out of the bushes, tall, pale, and thirsty, with my friends, James and Ruth.
"Hello there, I'm Elizabeth!" I exclaimed, licking my deep red lips. James put his hand out across my chest as I stepped forward.
"Now, now, Elizabeth. We mustn't play with our food..."

  2. "You're right, James!" I replied. I walks towards Sam and Jerome and concentrated on their eyes. I could see Sam's earliest memories. I saw her about one year ago. I saw Marco as well.
"Thank you, Samantha, for this kind gift!" Said Marco.
"You are very welcome. And remember, is Jerome is to be harmed or die, I shall be your servant forever," she replied.

  3. The memory stopped there. I froze. "You sold your soul to Mark?" I said to Sam. She looked worried, like nobody was supposed to know. "Well, did you?!"
