Hi there forumers. I just wanna reiterate a few ideas thats been had and given to pimd but has not yet been implemented. I'm not entirely sure whether or not Pimd is actually looking into these types of threads personally as I haven't really seen the devs in forums much. Either way, heres a few idea's from the recent past that could be useful for pimd. Forum Voting By l_4m_G0lN6_7o_CHlLL_y0u Speaker Limits No quote here but its an interesting idea. If not interested in looking, the idea was you would recieve an x amount of speakers based on how long you've played the game for. Tutorial EC With this, I had the idea to have extra credit rewards for tutorials. For example, for every 5kcs you grew in stats, you would be rewarded with 5 ec each time but only once per 5kcs until 20kcs. And that would be a total of 20 ec. Enough to open a box or two given to you from the tutorial or a name change if you wanted. You could also use those ec to purchase speakers for more rp requests. ? After reaching 20kcs, you would not recieve any more ec as you would have already learnt how the game is played and encouraged to buy ec. Because how will Ata profit if all they do is just give freebies? Anyways, theres a few ideas for pimd that isn't "Make Avatars Tradable" and whatnot but I'm sure everyone has ideas for pimd as well. If you have any ideas that ata could possibly implement into pimd, feel free to post it as a comment and hope that devs read this thread. ? This is a firebends approved thread Wheres my bento Hailey?
Forum voting? like adding poll feature? or do you mean like "Liking" or "No support" features ? I don't rlly like the limited speakers, some high stats or long time players are still complete noobs. Theres no way to control for that ?♀️... plus some players use alts for speakers This also puts a separation between high and low stat or new and long time players. With the new chat features coming, I think this is unnecessary. I like the ec idea tbh but i feel like people would abuse it with alts ?♀️ So i don't think ata would do that
Somewhat of a support I guess. Like dislike thing is cool but it can also make people to be more fake to just impress others and say all the nice things to look popular. And fake people and their fake opinions and fake kindness is a big no no for me. Other than that it's a cool idea. Tutorial ecs are good, noobs will learn and 20 ecs won't really do any harm. Number or speakers thing can actually reduce the spamming and noobs making useless threads b2b but it depends on how much is the minimum number of speakers one gets at a particular level. overall I think it's a cool idea which can be great if implemented right.
I meant like upvoting and downvoting just as stated in Vice’s previous thread in forums where he gave my full answer on my forums thoughts. This would hopefully be a tool to show forumers the types of threads and replies the community likes and hopefully eventually reduce the types of threads and replies the community doesn’t like.
An idea would be for thread makers to pick the "Best Answer" for posts. & I like the idea for thread makers to be able to request a change to their thread and it would need to be accepted by a moderator.
Kindness is kindness. I don’t always care about a persons motivation to be kind, as long as they are kind. Yes, it helps if the action is genuinely from the heart and soul, and possibly motivated by the desire to see the world become a better place, but even when a “bad person” does a good thing it isn’t always disingenuous or for popularity. Sometimes it’s even out of guilt. Maybe they just simply changed their outlook on life, or even more simply, their mind in general or a particular subject. Also, I believe consistency speaks very loudly. It’s hard to find people you agree with 100% of the time... especially if you’re a leader. As a person that is legitimately in the middle of the road when it comes to feeling/thinking, perception/judging I often ignore the popular opinion, in search of what might be more beneficial to everyone as a whole. For me, if I saw my post or thread get a ton of downvotes, I might try to figure out the underlying reasons for that, and if those reasons are legitimate, and not based on my “PIMD POPULARITY OR RELEVANCY” (whatever the hell that is) then I will try to post things that will be more useful to the forum community instead of being passive aggressive in my next reply.
