A dog's lick

A girl is left alone at home with nothing but her dog to protect her. As night approaches, she decides to lock all the doors and windows. But one window won't close. She decides it's fine and leaves it unlocked. She climbs into bed, and the dog takes it's customary position under the bed.

Late into the night, she is awoken by a dripping sound. Scared, she reaches under the bed and feels the reassuring lick of her dog and falls back to sleep. Later, she is again woken by the dripping. Once again she reaches down and feels the lick of her dog and goes to sleep. Again, she is woken by the strange dripping sound. She reaches down and feels the lick of her dog.

Now curious, she gets up to see what the dripping sound is. As she approaches the bathroom, the dripping gets louder. She reaches the bathroom and turns the light on. She's greeted by a horrific sight.

Hanging from the shower head is her dog, it's throat slit and the blood dripping into the bathtub. Something in the mirror catches her eye. Written in big bloody letters are the words, "HUMANS CAN LICK TOO"
