Well I went to the Mariott 4 star hotel, near LAX, yesterday at 2pm to do my MEPS (Military Entrance Program Station). MEPS is either full physical, which I had today, or they check height and weight, sign your contract and wait to be shipped off. After I arrived at the hotel, me and a couple people who we net because the recruiter picked us all up and traveled together went to the lounge because check-in for MEPS started at 4pm. So at 4 you check in and they give you a room key and a ticket for dinner. So after we got our room keys, we went to our room an dropped of our stuff, I met with the new people at the elevator and we went to eat dinner at 6pm. At 7pm, we hit the gym and at 8pm we went to the pool. After I went back to my room, took a shower, and me and a couple friends were chilling at a friends room. Around 9pm I went back to my room and knocked out. Wake up call was at 4:30 am but I woke up at 3am and at 3:30 I left my room; I didnt want to wake up my roomate because he was a weird fellow xD. The next day (today) was horrible, but since we had a small group, we finished the process in 6 hours, it's normally supposed to be about 12 hours. At MEPS for a full physical, they check your vision, hearing, health history, draw blood, and urine sample. For urine sample, you had to pee in a cup in front of the person in charge and next to about 4 other people, so it was awkward :/. Everything else is self explanatory. I have not sworn in yet, I will do that next week or 2 weeks from now and then I will choose my MOS (military occupational specialty) Sorry about my bad English grammar thing, I was never good at grammar.
