"Mom!" Zella yelled down the stairs, "Caleb's coming over, don't come in my room!" I heard a door slam. Most kids these days were raised with kindness and great maturity. Not Zella. During the hyena time, the people learned great lessons in life, but I never joined them. I continued to live as human, and had a daughter. Zella never learned important life lessons like the other kids. So now I have a snotty, greedy 13 year old on my hands. "Okay, sweetie," I replied from the kitchen. This was later followed by a loud scream from her room. "What?" I said as I ran to her room. "You IRRITATE me!" She yelled, pushing me out of her room. "Zella, sweetie, calm down," I urged. "NO! Now Caleb's gonna be here in twenty minutes and I haven't taken a shower yet!" Zella screamed back. Her face was red and tears were forming in her eyes. "Then take your shower," I replied calmly. It was like this every day. "GET OUT!" Zella screamed, she raised her arm to push me out of her door. Then I saw it, a small, faded 3 on her forearm.
Shall I continue to wait while mentioning random things. My hamburger hat looks like it feels left out!
Chapter 2 As soon as I was out of Zella's room, I ran to the phone. I dialed a number and eagerly waited for it to be picked up. "Hello?" The deep voice answered. "Dr. Hill? It's Ellysa," I said, trying to calm down. My fingers were shaking. "Oh hey Ellysa! How've you been?" Dr. Hill replied. "Dr, I need your help," I said. My forehead was beaded with sweat. "On what?" The Doctor's voice became more stern. "It's Zella," My words tripped out. "And...?" He replied. "She had a number, on her arm, a number three," I choked out. There was a long pause, then the phone line went dead.
