Mom looked through the binds of the front window. " Are you sure that they're coming today?" she asked Dad. "Im almost certain they're coming today" Dad replied. Mom gulped. She was afraid. " And you're positive that no one will survive it?" She asked. My parents had been researching this event for twenty years. I had no idea what it was at the time. " I'm absolutely positive" Dad said. Mom peaked through the window blinds one last time." Oh my God..." she gasped, " they're here." Dads eyes widened. "Maybe our daughter could be saved!" Mom said. "No use," Dad replied, but Mom was already running toward my room. I was listening to my iPod and looking through some old magazines. She grabbed my hand and I followed. She lead me to a closet and put me inside."Wha-what-" I tried to ask her what was going on, but every time I tried to talk, she hushed me and told me to keep quiet. She handed me a bag of carrots. When she closed the door, the screaming began. Should I keep going?
The screaming went on for hours. I didn't know what the heck was happening. I was terrified. I tried to stay super quiet but my heartbeat seemed to give me away. When the screaming stopped, I still didn't exit the closet. When I got tired, I nibbled on a carrot . I tried to ration the food, because I didn't know how long I'd be in there. When I finished the carrot, I made a necklace for myself. It was very dark, but I found some string and a twisty-tie. I made the twisty-tie into the shape of a 2. Two was my number. Everyone had to get a tattoo of a number on their right arm. I personally thought it was weird, but it was the law. They said it was for security and ID reasons. When the necklace was done, I put it around my neck. I fell asleep a couple hours after that. When I woke up, I was guessing it was early morning. I was really tempted to open the closet door, but the fear of encountering the thing that happened yesterday held me back, so I just ate another carrot. And then, the closet door opened.
Chapter 3:Forest When the door opened, standing there was a teenager that looked about 16, which was around my age. "woah..." he said wide-eyed "there's a person in there." He was staring at me like I was the only person he's ever seen. "um.... Hello?" I said. When I exited the closet, he said, " Hi, my name's Forest. What's yours?" "It's Ellysa," I replied. "Well, Ellysa, I suggest we stick together, since most other living things are....dead," he said. I looked around the house, it was a wreck. Half of the second floor was torn off and I couldn't find it anywhere. Forest followed me everywhere like a little puppy. It was kinda weird. "You do know, that we're the only two that can bring back the human race," He suggested when I was looking out of the hole in the second floor." Not yet, we should get to know each other first," I replied.
Chapter 4:Same Forest and I decided to try to find food. It was harder than we thought, because whatever happened took EVERYTHING alive with it. We searched what was left houses pantries, but we usually couldn't even find the pantry. And when we did, the food was all gone with the packages laying around everywhere. We finally found a small package of raisins. It was then when I noticed Forest's number."Your number is 2?" I asked him. "uh, yeah I guess, what's yours?" He replied. "My number is 2, how is your number 2 also? No one is supposed to have the same number." I said. " yeah, that is weird" he replied.
