That's because the trendiness of it faded, at least in U.S and other English-speaking countries. (Iceland's Bitcoin mining is still a fairly well-off industry and is causing environmental problems.) It's been around for a long time and will not be going anywhere anytime soon.

The world cup tickets can be bought with bitcoin. Singapore has started bitcoin smart notes giving it a physical aspect. And a lot more. So bitcoin is here to stay. But if it doesnt keep up with the tech we might see some altcoin like iota take over
Then why did you say it was worthless and now are exalting it's popularity? I just said it was here to stay, and am just saying it's unfortunate because Bitcoin mining and other cryptocurrency mining is harmful to the environment.
It is getting popular yes, only cuz ppl arent aware of alt coins that are better or most altcoins dont have a working product. Only a matter of time before btc is taken over by alts. But for now btc is staying although its a worthless coin.
