She needs and demands consent.
I go ahead and bump because it's not 'their's'

 

That's how I role Cookie. I hire when I want. Now, as long as someone isn't it war, then I'll hire. I won't if they are warring.
Tuts are no ones property and you shouldn't let her treat you like that!

 

Now for a longer post.
A tutor is there for temporary stat boosting, company and to be helped.
It is not "owned" by a player or else the game wouldn't allow us to hire them? If two people fight over a tutor ten it is ultimately the tutor's decision who is her pupil.
I go by the child method.
If I see it and I want it, it's mine until I loose interest. Then it's yours 
Basically meaning I will hire a tutor continually until either over priced by a large margin.
This can go to 500m to 7b for a 5kcs tutor.
Or if the tutor tells me not to.

It's a way of pupil chivalry.

Before I reset, I was "owned" by snHOE, and she refused to give me up so I reset decided to reset on her (only a 10kcs noob )
I was sick of people thinking "oh that tutors mine!"
