"I think I've got one! I think I've one grandad!" I shouted, we were out fishing on my granddads little boat, the weather was mild and we were just chilling. "what!" he jumped and grabbed the net "he ain't to bad my son!" I nodded as we reeled in the decent sized fish. "guess what we've got for tea tonight!" we chuckled and paddled back to shore. We trampled inti the barn and turned on the oven, as we deboned the fish. "I wish nan was here to see this" I said, grandad nodded slowly. ---------A couple years later--------- "C'mon grandad, youll be able to make it up this hill!" i exclaimed, "I'm not as fit as I use to be son" he laughed, as we sat down and dug into a feast, "you know if we can ever go fishing again, I wanna get you the biggest fish ever!" I laughed as he said this. Little did I know truly about his condition... ------------------------------------- What do you think? It actually kind of hurts to take this story because this kinda happened to me and my grandad. So just tell me the truth
Thanks I'm sorry if I offend any one with it I just thought it was a change from what I usually write
----------------------------- I took my Grandad in a cup of tea as I did he sat up slightly. "you wanted to talk to me grandpa?" I asked. "Josh, soon something will happen and we won't be able to do anything about it, so I want to warn you now." He took a deep breath and I looked into his eyes. "I'm suffering with a disease that is beyond our control, it's called lung cancer..." My eyes filled with tears as it sunk in what was happening to him. "I want you to be strong though..." ---------------5 days later------------ Nee-Noh-Nee, as I sat in the front of the ambulance next to the drive, two paramedics were rushing around in the back with oxygen cylinders injection and lots of other weird medicines with long names that I didn't recognise or understand. My vision is blurring and my heart is pounding. As we rolled up to the hospital everything went black... ------------------------------------
