I'm Ahli You might remember me from such threads as: "Magical Mystery Tours to The Bathroom", or "Get Confident, Stupid" I'm here today because of Chloe Her recent thread, questioning why she's here, made me think about how we're not taking the time to get to know each other personally anymore So, I thought I'd take the initiative, and give you guys some facts about me ? First off, those that know me best know I don't do one-way relationships everything about me revolves around fairness and equality friendships are about give and take, and if you're just gonna keep taking, I'm gonna stop giving that said, when I do give, I give genuinely and honestly I don't handle arguments well confrontation makes the blood drain from my hands and feet, makes me shaky, and feel sick and dizzy.. ? kinda sucks, because I can be confrontational at times ? I'm halfway through my second year of a psychology degree took a long break, but I'm looking forward to getting back to it in March still have no idea what I'm gonna do with it - face to face counselling isn't something I can do ? I'd become too involved, so I'm leaning towards marketing or human resources my favourite fruit is pears ? those juicy suckers are incredible as a kid, I thought they were better value than apples, because the core is so much smaller and I crave cashews and almonds a lot ? I don't listen to the radio or watch music shows, so I'm always behind when it comes to new music stuff I'll discover a song and be like and someone will say "ugh, so over that song already" more than half the music on my iPod is over 20 years old ? There isn't a single TV series I watch religiously ? I'm a sucker for a good ol' romcom I love 80's horror movies like Nightmare on Elm St, Evil Dead, Poltergeist, and so many others.. and I'm a secret Arnie fan or more, his movies ? I like making things knitting, sewing, painting, anything crafty I'm totally gonna be a scrapbooker one of these days too I love making personalised gifts for my friends and family Right, so that's a bit about me.. I have myself a fancy diploma in health and social sciences and have an interest in pharmacy, which hopefully I will go on to start studying next year. If I have something to say, I'm not afraid to say it. Can sometimes be a downfall, but I believe it's a more mature way to deal with things I like accents. I like pretending I can copy accents..........at least they sound better in my mind. I also can be pretty indecisive....example my hair....I change my hair colour often. So I figured I'd start with my family. I'm the fourth oldest child... Of seven! Yup! Mealtimes were fun... You had to be down early or Sam would take it all . Three older brothers (Sam, Alex, Ben) and three younger sisters (Jemma, Lucy, Lia). Here is a fun fact: I am 1/4 French 1/4 Dutch 1/4 Welsh (no Welsh flag!?) and 1/4 English. I am a lifeguard. I didn't go to university. Now I bet you're thinking "that under-educated little so-and-so!" but I went to college and did a course on personal training . I am Catholic! ? The Pope FTW! I'm Eric. 36 years of age and a single father of one insanely precocious daughter. I've held all manner of jobs from the time I was on my own at 17. The three constants have been writing, education and judo. I am currently a third of the way towards obtaining my doctorate in English. I have loads of creative writing, most of which remains ensconced in desktop folders and big yellow paper tablets.
