It was 7:00 a.m. I stared off into the ceiling thinking on how I was going to tell Jake that I was breaking up with him. I was pulled out of my thought when my bestfriend Annie ran into my room jumping on me. "KELSEY WAKE UP!" "I'm up Annie." "Great! Now get ready we leave for school in 5" "Fine." I pushed Annie off me, thinking about me ending the relationship with Jake. I just couldn't b with him anymore. It hurt knowing I had to end it but it was for the better of me. I dressed in simple jeans with converse and a navy blue sweat shirt. I tied my hair in a ponytail running down the stairs with Annie to make it to school on time. "Bye mom!! Love you!" "Love you too Kelsey! Be safe girls!" "Bye Mrs. Adams!" We got into Annie's black '98 impala. I looked at my phone as Annie pulled out from my drive way and drove off into the crisp Tuesday morning. The drive was short with little speed racer Annie behind the wheel. When she pulled into the student parking lot. I saw Jake with his friend Ash. I sighed looking at Annie. She knew what was coming. She smiled and rubbed my arm. "It'll be ok Kels." "Ok." We stepped out, my heart pounding against my chest. I felt like I was going to pass out! I walked over the greenish grass over to Jake. I sighed over looking what was about to happen. "Hey Kelsey baby." "Jake we need to talk." "About?" "I'm... Breaking up with you." "What? Why?!" "Jake I'm sorry! It's just your to clingy and you always accuse me of cheating! I can't take it!" "Let me change!" "No, I'm sorry Jake but I can't" He was speechless after that. I turned and walked away. My heart breaking into millions of pieces, aching to beloved by someone better. Craving affection to make the pain of ending it with Jake. As I walked of to my class I glanced back at Jake.
