  1. I'm trying find out what owners and other players think about clubs. I have only been an admin.

What is your thoughts on owning a club?

    - Are they hard to run?
    - Tough to keep people?
    - Fun or boring?
    - Waste of money?
    - Is it worth creating a club?

Any help is greatly appreciated! I still want some troll posts 

  2. yes
    yes
    can be fun or boring

  3. it can be a waste of money
if its successful then it's worth it

  4. No it's easy to run , yes it's tough to keep people ,no it's not a waste of money and it's worth it

  5. Thanks for the posts guys 

  6. I think the difficulty of owning a club depends on how strict/successful it is.

for example, if you had a laid back club that accepted anybody, there wouldn't be much work to do.

if you had a club that had certain requirements, you'd have to actually check their stats, maybe interview them.
and when it comes to war time, you have to talk to other owners to arrange the conditions 
oh, and you have to settle farming issues, etc.
picking admins can be hard too, I guess.. considering picking all your friends as admins may not be a good idea 

eh, that's just what I think. don't know if it makes sense or not 

  7. Yes it's hard.

Tough to keep people, but just keep recruiting to get new ones.

Fun, fun, fun... (looking forward to the weekend)

    No.

If you have experience and money, no. If not, yes.

  8. Take my comments seriously... I owned a club once 

  9. Whether owning a club is worth it or not depends on the person. It can be worth it and fun if you want to own a club badly and you take appropriate steps in making and keeping your club running. It is hard to run a club in that it will die if you don't constantly keep it going. It is difficult to recruit because you post on campus and no one joins or you post on forums and no one joins. I got a club from 1 member to 100 members in a day and a half (all newbies) but many became inactive and my schedule started getting busy so I moved them all to another club that I became a member and eventually an admin in. I have some desire to rub a club but for now I reside as an admin because of my busy schedule. Your rules should be what you think is best and it may affect how fun the club is or how easy it is to get members.

  10. Run a club*

And by the way my recruitment method was recruiting 1k tutors off of tutor search. It was a chill club but too much work in the end. I don't care about players stats.

  11. Thanks, all of these posts are seriously helpful.

  12. Everything depends on how you run it.

  13. Wifey took time out to make that post  

Yeah for a big club I can imagine it is a nightmare. The bigger the club the harder it is. You need a good team of admin behind you. Also a lot of players apply for new clubs (even resting clubs which say they aren't taking members) and then go inactive. Easy to end up with an inactive club. If you want to war you obviously need players...

  14. I dont think owning a club would be very hard, especially if you have an admin that basically does all the work in running a club for you *couch cough* you know who *cough*.
