All I could remember was me running and running taking short gasps of air. She was going to die! I had to get there fast!! I ran through the cold streets of Chicago hoping I got to her before it happened...hoping I got to her before she...died. "SARAH!?!? SA-RAH!!??!!" I yelled over and over trying to find her. I took a sharp turn around a corner into a alleyway. When I got to the end of it I heard a scream coming from the roof above me. I climbed the fire escape and ran towards the distant yelps and squeals for help. Once I got to the sound what I saw made hot tears go down my face in the cold, frosty night. I dropped to my knees in front of her and all I could think was, why? As I laid there I noticed something coming up in the sky....it was THE BREAK OF DAWN... Updating Soon! Stay Reading My Peeps!!
In the distance I heard someone calling my name. It was soothing and warm, something that doesn't come often in this cold city. "Jason!....Ja-ason" it said I looked around and the city began to go black....then i was awoken in my bed by Sarah laying beside me shaking me. I smiled at her and she had a worried look on her face. I studied it closely. I began to speak when she interrupted me. "Jason, are you ok? Was it a bad dream?" she asked "Wha...how did you know?" I asked wincing "You are sweating and yelling my name in your sleep." she replied. I acted like I didn't know what she was talking about. She just shrugged it off and got up straightening her night gown. "Want some breakfast baby?" she asked smiling "Sure" I replied getting up and kissing her cheek She went downstairs and I walked in the bathroom and washed my face. I looked down and when I looked up in the mirror I saw Sarah dead behind me like in my dream. I jumped and turned around and nothing was there...I knew that I was hallucinating...and I knew who I had to contact. Only if I knew what was going to happen I would have never made the call.... Thanks for the great comments guys they keep me writing!
I walked downstairs smelling the juicy aroma of Eggs and bacon. I walked to Sarah and hugged her from behind as she put some food on a plate. "Here you go baby" she said as she kissed me. "Thanks babe" I kissed her back and sat at the table. I slowly ate but the food stuck in my throat thinking about what happened in the dream and the bathroom. I reached for the phone and dialed the number. It rang for a while and then a man answered. He seemed groggy and tried. I tried to be as calm and soft as I could because I knew he might scold me for waking him up. "Dad...I need you to help me." I said sighing. "What for?" He asked like he was worried. "They are happening again....except about Sarah this time." I replied "Oh no....I will be right over." he said sighing I hung up and then out of no where I fell over and began to dream....again. Thanks for the support
At first all I saw was darkness then out of the clear...well black sky I saw Sarah dead in front of me again. I once again felt the warm tears on my frosty face. I felt something tug on my shoulder. It kept pulling me away from her but I yelled at the top of my lungs. When it let me go I ran back to her and as I slid down her body disappeared. I sat there wide-eyed wondering what happened and when I started to look for her my vision got blurry and I fell to the cold, snowy ground. When I awoke I saw my dad and Sarah hovering over me. I coughed and shivered as they helped me up. My dad looked at me and said. "Son,you need to tell me how long it has been happening." he said with a serious tone. "It's been happening since last night, I thought it was over...I thought I forgot about it but it came back" I said sighing "Well son,you don't just forget things like that...especially since you know exactly when your mom died...when was it?" he asked "Dad...it was a cold night when we lived in Chicago..and it was...THE BREAK OF DAWN.." I replied staring into the distance. We all sat in silence and I saw something run past the window and then jump back....it was my mom....my deceased mom......... Once again thanks for the compliments
